Cheers
Dear persian westender:
by Nazy Kaviani on Tue Feb 23, 2010 01:03 PM PSTA beautiful poem, full of thought and compassion. Thank you so much for accepting the call my friend. There are different statistics about just how many people are in prison for expressing their opinions since the Iranian presidential elections. The number is somewhere between 3,000 and 4,000 I understand. All those people are paying a price for having a conscience. When it's all said and done, Ahmad Zeid Abadi will be serving his prison term in exile in Gonabad, and he will be deprived of political and social activities for the rest of his life--all because he wrote things. The prison walls, the entire country, and all humanity must stand to bow to this man's courage and his conscience. The Kianoush of your poem is in esteemed company, westender Jan.
