wow, Souri jan!
by persian westender on Sat Oct 09, 2010 12:25 PM PDTYou make me feel like a balloon! but it's time to deflate.
master of Persian literature? I am nobody baba, just an ordinary guy trying to make ends meet with sagdo zadan! Thats why I don't have time to contribute more. but thanks so much for the supporting words...
Lovely poem!
by Souri on Sat Oct 09, 2010 08:40 AM PDTSplendid work! Truly sweet and delneshin.
I know for sure you are a master in Persian Literature. I do even believe that you have been raised in a literary-oriented family ;-)
Your skill of poetry is above average and all your other works also shows that you master a high degree in Persian Literature. But I don't understand why you don't contribute so often here?
Anyway, just let you know that I am an old fan of your writing.
More power to you.

by persian westender on Sat Oct 09, 2010 08:05 AM PDTMay be we should hold on until the promised changes happen to this website. I mean when it is more interactive and facebook-like. Then whoever is interested can come up with a work such as making a song, playing instrument(s), singing,etc.... That's the teamwork. and I have no problem using this poem as lyrics with my permission.
Thank you divaneh jan for the compliment.
divaneh jan, you want me to sing PW's song?
by Anahid Hojjati on Sat Oct 09, 2010 05:57 AM PDTdivaneh jan, it appears that you are not only upset with me but also with IC community too. Since, you want me to sing and dance persian westender's beautiful song. If you think some of our musicians would drag PW's poem down, then why do you suggest that I sing it? If I do, PW's song would go so down that "bayad zeerabee bezaneh".
Beautiful lyrics for a song
by divaneh on Sat Oct 09, 2010 04:23 AM PDTI agree that your excellent poem also makes perfect lyrics for a song. Given the level of some so called singers and musicians, some would only drag it down to their own low level.
I also agree that Anahid has to sing and dance it for the entertainment of the whole IC community.
No, persian westender, I am the worst singer you could find
by Anahid Hojjati on Sat Oct 09, 2010 12:24 AM PDTNo, I am not a good singer, you need a good one or at least average one not a horrible singer like me.
Thanks, Anahid
by persian westender on Fri Oct 08, 2010 11:44 PM PDTWell, it has an informal and conversational tone; so i agree it might be good for songs. You can hear someone singing it? I can't! perhaps you should re-singing it for us :-)
good night
nice one persian westender, would make a good song
by Anahid Hojjati on Fri Oct 08, 2010 09:15 PM PDTDear persian westender, this poem of yours would make a nice "taraneh" for a song. I can totally hear some singer singing it.
I haven't Mehrban Jan
