Iranian Regime Praises
by asdf (not verified) on Fri Jul 25, 2008 09:54 AM PDTIranian Regime Praises Obama's National Security Advisor The Iranian regime continues to be impressed with Barack Obama's top foreign policy advisor, Zbigniew Brezezinski.
THIS was the guy who helped negotiate the arms treaties that helped PROP UP the dying Soviet Union and prolonged the enslavement of a billion people??
this guy served in an administration (carter et al) that created Mugabe, and Khomeni, legitimized Jihadi nation states, created stagflation, double-digit unemployment figures, inflation rates, and interest rates? Is this country dumb enough to want to see that again? This time Carbomba won't get our embassy taken hostage, he'll get millions killed in the flash of a nuclear blast.

by Mensa (not verified) on Wed Jul 23, 2008 08:43 PM PDTSometimes things are so clear that trying to argue or decipher the intent of the message or messenger becomes meaningless, wasteful, and in the long term annoying...
Q and the other messengers of this regime either hide behind the curtains of nationalism in order to prolong the life of the hand that feeds them or try to bully others by personal attacks, while never answering charges and diverting form the real issues at hand....I will not play like Q...so from this point on I will not refer to him any longer.
What is truly encouraging and a cause for celebration is that a few years ago...articles such as this would entice this sense of blind nationalism and immature reaction from many of our countrymen without a notice to the true intent behind the article or blog.....Today I see more and more people seeing what these writings are at their core and no longer fall for the smoke screen....that makes me happy when I read from so many of you who tell these IRI supporters... by programmer craig on Wed Jul 23, 2008 05:51 PM PDTQ, I'm sure I am not the only one who has noticed how much time you spend defending the IRI, while at the same time calling everyone else a "zionist" or a "neocon". You not only have all the talking points down, you are probably the guy who wrote them in the first place. I get to point it out, because I'm not Iranian and I have nothing to lose. But don't think I am the only one who has noticed it, buddy.
Craig, have you ever heard of "throwing monkey feces?"
by Q on Wed Jul 23, 2008 05:27 PM PDTIt's ironic if you haven't becasue you are a master at it.
Q most assuredly does.
I most assuredly don't.
I'm not going to debate my own beliefs with someone who thinks they have ESP.
I believe what causes confusion frequently among people who throw monkey feces when they have nothing else to say, is that I don't support overthrowing the Iranian government by anyone except possibly Iranians inside Iran without any foreign influence.
That's what has you confused Craig. It's like me calling you a McCain supporter because you simply never talk about killing the man!
"If you don't support the War, like you claim, why don't you spend all your time attackng McCain and not talk about anything else?"
<- See how stupid and illogical this is?
That's how hystrical people think and that's the root of the (very frequent) accusations on this site. That's also why, I really don't want to encourage this illogical mob mentality by bothering to deny every accusation under the sun.
Suffice to say, if I didn't explicitly state something about my beliefs, you can't assume it's true. You would think grown men would understand as much.
OK OK!

i've read some of your comments... i might not always agree with you but you seem to be pretty rational and fair. be fair now...:-)

by IRANdokht on Wed Jul 23, 2008 03:44 PM PDTI can't speak for anyone else here, but I have lived as an adult in USA for a longer period of time than I did in Iran. I know more about the US government and the American politicians than I do of Iran, especially since the IRI government is so intertwined and multi-leveled, I am not even sure how they pick some of their officials (khobregan).
I voted in Iran once, then I left my country and became a US resident. Then I waited years to qualify to take a test and had an interview in order to be accepted and sworn in as an American. I was not born here, I worked for this citizenship!
Now when I make comments about the US politicians or criticize the policies, it really is unfair for someone to laugh about my opinions and make fun of me just because they had the birth privilege of being a US citizen.
As far as I know , in the upcoming election, I have one vote, and so do you!

by programmer craig on Wed Jul 23, 2008 03:30 PM PDTTwice now you've made a comment here about supporting IRI... who do you actually think does?
Q most assuredly does. Don't know about Mola.
I'm just ahving a little fun with the way Iranians here are enjoying criticizing American politicians for minor transgressions, when the politicans in Iran are guilty of such eggregious crimes.
I know IRANdokht doesn't. I sure don't... my husband doesn't... I
hope you don't think there's a correlation between supporting McCain or
even Obama for that matter... and supporting the IRI.
Of course I know that. I have a couple (Iranian) friends who are regulars on this site. You won't catch me accusing them of being IRI supporters, regardless of what they think of American politicians!
But you can't deny, there are a fairly large number of IRI supporters on this website, right? I mean, people like Q don't even try to hide it. Or if they do try to hide it, they do a pretty piss-poor job!
(but seriously, you're not voting for McCain are you...:-)
Well, I don't want to. But my other choice is Obama, so what am I supposed to do? I've never liked McCain. I've had problems with him going all the way back to the 1980s. I'd be happy to jump on the bandwagon and add all my complaints aboutMcCain here, but none of them have anything to do with Iran (or Iraq for that matter) so it wouldn't be very productive, right? :)
And just so you know, my problems with Obama have nothing to do with Iran or Iraq either. I'm comfortable with Obama's statements about foreign policy. In fact, I like his position re: Iraq and Afghanistan better than McCain's.

Interesting for something that is supposedly a useless video containing nothing new and no inconsistency, people still feel the need to do "damage control" on it.
Yes, McCain isn't actually inconsistent. He is a lying warmonger just like Bush, onboard the war wagon from day 1.
In this video he repeats all the lies of the Bush administration: Saddam is a threat, he had WMD, we can finish in a short time, we'll be greeted as liberators, etc... all of it!
He just says he was the War's "biggest critic" to make it seem like he's not McSame.
But he is.
Parthian: I like your generic answer of "all politicians lie", so that must make it OK to pick someone like Bush who has nearly destroyed 2 countries and wants to do the same to Iran. Maybe all politician's lie. But this one is exposed early.
You have to love Parthian's idea of democracy:
He is saying upfront, he does not give a rat's ass about the polls, or what people think.

I am not a McCain fan, I will probably not vote for him, or Obama. But, these sort of attacks are very much consistent with Q's other magnificent writings. Anything that threatens the IR's existence is attacked by Q. This sort of attack is purely ideological, and meant to advance Q's propaganda. You can find all kinds of inconsistencies with Obama, and just about any politician.
As a matter of fact, the biggest dishonest politician was probably Q's hero, Grand donkey mullah Chosmeini who promised free electricity to all those "poor" Iranians. At least McCain is not a man of cloth, and to some extent, he is being honet. He is saying upfront, he does not give a rat's ass about the polls, or what people think. Good for him! That is exactly the kind of leader I want in the Oval office. This is a representative republic, once chosen, I want a leader who is not going to be looking at the polls all day, i.e. Bill Clinton. Unfortunately, I disagree with many of McCain's positions.

He has proven himslef to be the total copy of GW.
He claims to have more experience on foreign Policy, why?
Because he was shut down by Vietnamese and was jailed for his crimes against humanity?. Does that bring you Political credit?
He also thinks there is a border between Iraq and Pakistan. How he came up with that is a good question. This shows how much he knows about the places that US is bombing and the people they are murdering. At least you could learn a little Geography before you speak. Is that too much to ask?
One would have to seriously question the sanity of anyone who would even consider voting for him to be the leader of anything.

by Zion on Wed Jul 23, 2008 12:58 AM PDTI do not see much inconsistency in this video. He has always supported the major decisions in the war on terror including the removal of Saddam and he was right about the war itself being won fast and easy.
