This is a sweet song from the early 1970's, from one of the less well-known Iranian Pop Artists - Yet with a great voice .....

This song was featured in this episode of Morad Barghi

Nasser was my favorite of "Cheshmak" group.

He was very nice guy and had lots of "maraam" .

Thank you, RD, for the lyrics......super interesting and fun......here is my favorite 2 verses:

You tell me, that without me, the world is a suffocating prison
I tell you, go ahead my honey, your lies are even beautiful

Wow! You fell in love every other week! :O)

I wonder if the current songs (after the revolution) have this type of lyrics!

Thank you for sharing......the song reminds people of the good old days!

The clip is from a series from the early '70's called Morad Barghi (Morad the Electrician)

It was a comdey about a family that had seven (7) daughters ... Morad got involved with this family ...

The girls had a conniving type Uncle (Agha Dayee)

I used to have a huge crush on the youngest of the daughters, Mahboubeh - BTW, it's the same one that Morad had a crush on too :) - !

The guy had a wonderful voice .....

The song is a beautiful Love-Song:

Like the poetry in the text book of our school, I know all your words by heart
The stories that you want to tell me, I read them hundreds of times in the books every day

Whenever the talk of being in Love comes up, it's always about sadness
My sweet-talking little one, tell me why all talks are always the same

You tell me, that without me, the world is a suffocating prison for you
I tell you, go ahead my darling, your lies are even beautiful

In the first days of our love, you tell me about tomorrow, and the day after
You tell me of a warm and little home, and the games that our children will pay

But I know what future brings, the book always ends the same way
All the excuses are always the same, all the Loves end the same way

You tell me, that without me, the world is a suffocating prison
I tell you, go ahead my honey, your lies are even beautiful

P.S. Believe it or not, it reminds me of myself in those days when I used to fall in love every other week :) - !

Thank you, RD, for sharing.....the guy has a very gentle and soothing voice.....the song seems to be a happy song........the movie (TV?) clip seems to be a comedy.......the 2 guys looked very human....because they observed the pretty girls from the distance and got excited all of the sudden and crashed the party.... LOL!

Thanks,
