Did someone deleted his post with 404 comments in it?
Again?!!!
What's wrong with you guys?
You launch a debate, it get too hot, and it burns you?
I don't mind you delete your blogs, but at least you can have the kindness like Anonymouse to give us a warning 24 hours earlier.
No matter.
I had already read some of the comments. Nothing genius anyway.
But.....
Why deleting the blogs?

by Souri on Tue Sep 01, 2009 02:16 PM PDTIf anybody knows what went there, please let us know!
Who did it?
Practically , it should be only Afshin, being able to delete his own blogs. But why?
Let us know guys. It is important to respect the space and the users.
Don't you think so?
I doubt it comes from the editor, but then why Afshin would do it to his own blog? I'm puzzled!
oh I absolutely HATE this
by Q on Tue Sep 01, 2009 01:55 PM PDTIt looks like almost everything from Afshin is gone. I dont' know who did it, but luckily I tend to leave tens of pages open on my other computer. I will try to fish out the blog and repost it like I did with the Zoroastrian blog.

I can't stand this, these were good pieces and they deserve to be here long term.
Anonymouse, you really think that's why all of Afshin's work was deleted? He had many blogs where there was no attack-dog or profanity problem.
I think it is due to
by Anonymouse on Tue Sep 01, 2009 12:31 PM PDTI think it is due to lack of enforcement of any editorial rules. It is probably due to JJ vaJJ being busy ;-) So the website is on auto pilot. Right above our comments section he has recently added these "rules":
* Comments containing profanity or personal attacks will be removed. Repeat offenders will be blocked.
* Do not post articles as comments.
* Embedding videos is not recommended and may be disabled.
Now you tell me how many comments do we see on a daily basis that violate a lot more than the above and they keep going on and on?
So when you have any naneh ghamar who has ghahred with his/her aunt come here and throwing accusations "thinking" they have the "solution" it is not a debate anymore. It is a piss fight. So, I can understand why people do not want their blogs to be turned into a pissing contest and delete them. Be it one comment or 1000 comments. As you said no stroke of genius anyway!
I remember listening to Justice Clarence Thomas few days ago whom I do not like one bit responding to a question about his world views that when he was younger like in his 30s he thought he has it all figured out but now in his 60s he realizes he really hasn't, he hasn't figured much of anything in politics or world politics in general and I can agree with that. We just don't know enough yet ya know ;-)
Everything is sacred.
