I'm in contact with jj about what seems to me to be hacking into cyberidentities. It WAS cute when the "hacker?" and I performed a Mazdaist/Sufi purification of KS's soul, but it isn't cute here on this blog. It really can't continue...the MOST important benefit of registration is PROTECTION of one's cyberidentity. It really is....
Oh, and I got mad today, TWICE. One about an anti-Semitic slur to me, and one about me "defending" KS because I'm covertly a Muslim hater. I got mad, really mad. I released Nefrat. I was surprised. I almost never do...but....I did....
because you see....we're human...half animal, half angel....the gray area in between is where we THINK we live but really....we're half animal, half angel.
I tried to go in unregistered as Omid Hast, as I did as Kouroush Sassanian when the same thing happened on his blog, and the system stops me, telling me the name belongs to a registered user. So either the person doing this has a glitch which allows him to do it,or he's hacking in. It may be very elementary hacking, but it's still hacking. I don't know if it's the same person, but when he did it on Kouroush's blog, the intention was...more than benighn..it was actually to be helpful...to show how split Kouroush is between his Killer Shark and KiaroStami incarnations....I suppose I should notify jj and fouad about it at this point though...it's really not cool to keep doing it....or if there's more than one person doing it, also uncool.....I don't know what I'll do or when....I suppose I should...
asking. I never ever go under anyone's name verified or nonverified (not even to prove a point). Lord knows I have enough with my own three registered accounts. It is why I really only deal with one.
Answer to deleted reply question:
Well, I think there can be a domino effect to the situation. For example, I attached my reply to your comment, then someone attaches their reply to mine and the process continues. If for whatever reason your posted comment gets deleted then Yes, I do believe the system would automatically delete a bunch of comments at one time. Remember it is only a machine. It cannot tell the difference between good posts and abusive ones. It will do what it was programmed to do. It is not subjective.
I will look into your other questions and reply back to you.
Registered users:
I also wanted to let other registered users know that once someone attaches their reply to your comment, you cannot edit your comment further. I got the following of the actual iranian.com in which it states
Comments can be edited by the author until someone replies to them, after which they cannot be altered.
I finally figured out why sometimes, I could not go back and change a comment of mine. It also means you cannot move up a comment you made up the thread once someone attaches their reply to yours.

PS: Yes, the unverified Omid Hast posted as you but notice he has a chicken avatar, his name is in black lettering and next to him says not verified. People have to question the identity from whence the source comes. Someone did the same thing to Kouroush Sassanian only they are being the light and not darkness. So everybody knows it is not the real KS.
Also, someone posed as me a couple of months ago as Sasha and they had my name in blue letters but next to my name was (not verified). They insulted Niki using my name. It was before we had avatars next to our comments. Also, before I posted any blogs. Now, the majority of people on this website know who I am, what I think and my writing style. They will think twice before they believe an imposter.
Did you post under unregistered ‘Omid Hast’ to make a point?
I understand that by clicking on “reply” the comments is attacked to that post and consequently may get deleted, but is there other ways that posts are “attached” together and they are deleted in bunches?
Do you know about “Message Center”? Is this what Rosie T. refers to as “Message Box”? I am on the “Contact” link, but why am I not on the list in the “Message Center”?
I did not post “this is the case of unidentified deletions!”, and I don’t know what this person means. The sentence is not a question, but an exclamation. So now I get it, even an unregistered person can post under a registered person’s name, as it is done by the unregistered ‘Omid Hast’ for the registered ‘Omid Hast‘, and so quickly too. So a person is trying to make a point. It looks like a person is turning the game upside down on our heads. Maybe this has been going on for awhile, but I wasn’t aware of it.
I wrote it because Omid specially requested ithat I respond twice. And it's a complex and important issue. But if you read what I wrote you'd find it isn't really about rhinoplasty at all--it's about endemic addictive consumption in the soulless Westoxified global village. So I doubt I'll make much money with those views....thanks for your concern for my financial well-being, though.
Well, Omid, it's a complex question and first of all we have to make a distinction between what is surgery and what is not,, and also between what is for aesthetics per se versus an artificially created "aesthetic." And there's LOTS of blurry gray area. BUT
A nose job (rhinoplasty) is a SURGERY. An extremely painful, expensive one, and one that is risky too. I knew a girl in junior high school who really had an abnormally grotesquely large nose. It was like having an extra thumb or something. In that case for her to have a normal life the surgery was worth it because she was essentially deformed. But most women having a "rhinoplasty" are trying to conform with artificial standards of beauty related to consumer capitalism's assaults on us to consume, as well as the ol' "Westoxification" in Iran. They want to be something they're NOT because outside forces tell them to and they listen and they're ruining their natural beauty. Any ancient Egyptian paintings show you that a large nose has always been considered as beautiful as any other. I think a hardcore SURGERY like this should absolutely be avoided except in the MOST EXTREME CASES.
Okay, I know. We agree on this but I had to say it as a kind of a preamble because now we get into the murky gray area. Othrodonture, liposuction, skin peels, and so on....where even the criteria for what actually constitutes surgery is blurred. You have to take it on a case by case basis. Crooked teeth are ugly. I bet that's universal throughout cultures. I think orthodonture is fine.. Skin peels I don't know enough about. I think if they're not harmful, they're fine. Beautiful skin is beautiful skin everywhere. LIposuction starts to get creepy because then you're entering the realm of these imposed values. Trying to make women's bodies look androgynous--it started with Twiggy, it's a function of post-industrial consumer capitalism in the media age. Whatever. It's stupid. But I don't think liposuction is harmful, so that's all that it is-stupid and creepy. To me anyway.
I'd never encourage anyone to have liposuction. I'd encourage them to exercise to get their best natural body and then just live with the bumps and curves that are normal feminiity. But where would I draw the line? I WOULD ABSOLUTELY NOT DRAW A LINE.
The problem is we live in this consumer culture and everything is simply available. It is no longer possible to draw lines and in some ways everything is out of control. That is the reality; that's the state of play. We can see it most clearly with pornography. Look what's available...but you can't turn the clock back, it is what it is. I simply wouldn't draw a line.
Humanity is entering this stage of evolution where everything is so immediate and accessible that the only solution lies in proper upbringing, education and governmental involvement in educating the educators--the parents and teachers. And government is just us anyway. WE have to raise people with a CORE so they know themselves when to draw the line. The reason all this cosmetic "work" and pornography are so popular is because people no longer have a CENTER. But if you try to impose it from without it won't work and it creates totalitarianism. All we can do is be patient and do the best we can. It's going to get worse before it gets better. But if we survive the coming challenges of war, global warming, drought, etc., we will HAVE to evolve. Because IT IS THERE and it is AVAILABLE. What difference does it make ultimately whether it's nose jobs or tatooed eye liner, or skin peels or pornography or constant cell phoning and video gaming and eating sugary foods, then purging, or buying a new computer or new car every year...it's disastrous for the environment and for the soul. It's about massive pandemic ADDICTION for the "haves" of the planet. MASSIVE. It pervades EVERYTHING. It pervades this discourse we're having now. You spoke about computer addiction on your last cartoon. That's just another form of liposuction, see?
IT'S EVERYWHERE. IT'S MOLOCH> IT CANNOT BE REGULATED. The change will come when we weather the coming disasters and we realize that the earth is depleted and we honor it and stop consuming so addictively...and raise our children like children, not like consumption machines..
There. I've rambled. I think I'm leaving it the way it is, no edits. I hope I haven't made myself as clear as mud.
