A week ago we attended a large family wedding in Toronto – the second trip to Canada this year for the boys. The first time, February, was tough. They both had bouts of flu and we asked everyone to stay away in case they fell ill too. This time we decided to acclimatise them to North America by visiting cousins in Raleigh, NC first before flying on to Toronto for the wedding. My cousins in Raleigh are also twins, only identical twins (my two aren’t identical), older and luckily for us, they have built houses next door to one another. So we could visit either brother and their wife, whenever we wanted to.>>>

Mehdi Khalaji, an Iranian 'expert' at the Washington Institute for the Near East Policy (WINEP) has now officially filed a libel and defamation lawsuit against me in Canada and has claimed $2,000,000 damages. َQuite a modest champion of free speech, isn't he? Why? Because I've been very critical about him serving the likes of Richard Perle, Paul Wolfowitz, James Woosley and the rest of those filthy warmongers at the Washington Institute for the Near East Policy (WINEP), which was established by and is strongly associated with the Israeli Lobby's in the United States, according to Mearsheimer and Walt.>>>

Grrrrrrr!!!! Nothing frustrates me more than poor service in restaurants and hotels. Unnecessarily arrogant and condescending mannerisms that should, quite frankly, get thrown out with the trash as far as I’m concerned. Eating out is the social lynchpin of business and private life alike and therefore deemed necessary, at times. So what worse way to spend an evening with a client, friend or date, than to be patronised by some jumped up, wet behind the ears, accent-laden, barely-older-than-myself waiter. My recent experience at a famous London Italian Restaurant called Cecconi’s was precisely this. >>>

The scenario of Ms Bhutto's return is classic or better described a cliché... The international media knows this job only too well, to sell her as the angel of freedom to the frustrated people, stuck between two evils, one military dictatorship and the other an Islamic one. This game of political and media engineering is too transparent to miss. However, what struck me was, the way she was described repeatedly, as the first "Moslem woman leader in the Moslem world." Why did they have to mention this repeatedly? What purpose does this serve?>>>

Many years ago when I was paying my life’s due to the government as a private in military, on one of those trips that I was coming back home form the holyland of Kurdistan, I met a young student in the bus. He was sitting next to me in the row of seats closer to the dark end of the bus. I was drunk in the happiness of getting away from the smelly beds, disgusting food and suffocating military atmosphere heading towards the light, the feast, and the holly circle of friends. >>>

Sefidab, which means white water, takes its name from the roaring, almost white colored falls and rapids which are seen as you enter the area. The mountains are covered with tea bushes and hazelnut trees, while at the bottom you see nothing but rice plantations. The scenery of these mountains and valleys which comes in many shades of green is serene; it takes your breath away.>>>

حمله به کتابفروشی ها و بر پایی کتابسوزان از مشخصه های حکومت اسلامی ست. در آغاز" گروه های فشار" به رهبری هادی غفاری ها و محسن رفیقدوست ها وزهرا خانوم ها و ماشاالله قصاب ها و عباس قراضه ها , با شعار " حزب فقط حزب الله , رهبر فقط روح الله " امر به معروف تخریب کتاب فروشی ها و بر پایی کتابسوزان ها را پیش می بردند. بتدریج گروه های فشار و کشتار درارگان های اداری, امنیتی و نظامی حکومت اسلامی سازمان دهی شدند و اوامر و فتاوی را سازمان یافته تر انجام دادند.

The phone in our quiet house comes back to life as friends and relatives call from all over the planet to make sure we’re safe. I picture them going through their drawers to find my number, a few still unsure of how to spell the name. However, the reports of the recent fire, especially the maps shown on TV, put us at right the center of this inferno. Callers are mostly worried, but a few sound so overwhelmed that I feel as if I have let them down by not having burned already. Assured that our neighborhood is in no imminent danger, it’s my duty to extend a helping hand>>>

چرا باید حرفی زد که نه از نظر تاریخی وزنی دارد و نه گره ای از مشکلات امروز مردم فلسطین باز میکند؟ چرا باید سخنی گفت که آبی به آسیاب نژاد پرستان سفید پوست آنروز و امروز می ریزد و اسلحه ای بدست دشمنان قسم خورده ایران و لابی های قدرتمند آنها می دهد؟ اصلاً این معمائی است که چرا برخی از سیاستمداران جمهوری اسلامی اینقدر دلشان بحال دولتهای جابر اروپای ابتدای قرن بیستم مانند آلمان و اتریش و ایتالیا و فرانسه سوخته است که گناه نا بخشودنی و ضد انسانی نسل کشی و یهودی ستیزی آنها را بقیمت منافع ملی خود می شویند؟>>>

People like my wife and I who have spent years of our lives in pursuit of higher education have through the years been indoctrinated to believe that things, events or phenomena which cannot be explained logically, rationally and scientifically are simply figments of weak, unstable or wildly imaginative minds. It has only been in the past month that what we’ve always believed has been turned on its head, and we’ve come to feel that there are things which we cannot easily, logically, or rationally explain, but are as real as anything we’ve ever known>>>
