TPMmuckraker.com: Former UN Ambassador John Bolton reiterated his views on bombing Iran: He's for it. Bolton said it would be an "entirely resposible" action for President Bush to target supposed Shiite insurgent training camps Iran before the end of his presidency. And despite regional ramifications of bombing Iran, Bolton thinks Israel would be "delighted." (Think Progress)

I'm 100% Iranian and care about Iran as much any other real Iranian, perhaps even more. That's why I want to save it from the molahs!
You want to support the molahs, go ahead and do what you've been doing on this site so far.
You talk about Iran, but you don't know what it really means.
You don't know what shame is, otherwise you wouldn't be defending the molahs.
"You hide behind a pseudo-name, but "bravely" call for attacks on Iran. Show your face if you really believe in what you say."Mammad
What a hypocrite you are. Where's YOUR face and what's YOUR real name? You amuse me, sir.
"Why do you not criticize the illegal and criminal invasion of Iraq that has caused the present problems in the first place?"Mammad
Again, you are a real hypocrite. For Iranians The "present problems" started about thirty years ago and not with the invasion of Iraq. Iranians should save their own country from the molahs first and then make any attempts to save others.
Molahs use Iraqis and Palestinians as an excuse to kill Iranians and stash billions of dollars in their own bank accounts abroad. That's shameless!
Seeing what they have done to Iranians and Iran, how can anyone believe they care about Iraqis or Palestinians?
Wake up, young man. What are your interests in defending the molahs?

by Kaveh Nouraee on Thu May 08, 2008 04:41 PM PDTBolton may very well be exactly the way you describe. And the UN is most definitely corrupt and pathetic. Dysfunctional, well that's too kind a word. For me, it's a matter of perception. Bolton is simply disliked by many and very intensely I might add. Yes, I think he's an ass for saying what he did, but for the moment let's discard my opinion of him. I don't know him at all...he just rubs me the wrong way.
I know we agree that the IRI is a threat to the ME region and the rest of the civilized world, and that something needs to be done. But Bolton? Bolton has a PR problem. For whatever reason, he can't sell a glass of water to a single person in the UN, even if everyone in the room was dying of thirst. He represents an extremely unpopular White House administration. He is the picture of the "dirty American" that is so reviled throughout the world. No matter how correct he may be, he simply cannot enjoy any support from other nations. And that's the first thing that is needed to go up against these IRI criminals. Multi-national support. The lack of it plays right into the IRI's hands. A perfect example is the IAEA inspections. There's no real support for enforcement, so the IRI continues their Irani-baazi and laugh about it.
Does the IRI have to be kept from meddling in Iraq? Do they have to be kept from funding terrorism? Absolutely. No question about it. But the only way the message will be taken seriously is if the messenger were someone else. Not American, and not Israeli. Not that either one are wrong. It's that unfortunately no one wants to admit they're right.

by Abarmard on Thu May 08, 2008 04:32 PM PDTone word of advise from one Iranian to another. Although it's our culture to be polite to guests, but I beg of you in this specific case and this specific page, not to suck up to Zion. His nasty comment deserves nothing but a proper response if you wish to stand to his low level.
The animalistic comments that shows his level of class, is beyond response. It's not about right or wrong, as you can see, to him things are as black and white as they get. This is his true colors and sadly I am disappointed but not surprised. I am certain that he might not even realize what he is saying here. As I said, sadly.
Zionists, similar to Hezbullahis, are blinded by hate. Zionists have killed for the past sixty years to have a tiny land for their names, killing is a very acceptable norm to them. Sadly so. Are you in his camp Mr. Kaveh Nouraee?
Bolton is just suffering from social complexes (oghdeh)
by Iranian- on Thu May 08, 2008 06:58 PM PDTLike some of the loser Americans who are still angry at the hostage issue of 1970's and keep blaming Iran for every misery that comes to them, he hates Iran. He just wants Americans to kill some Iranians by their own hands to satisfy his anger complexes (oghdeh).
It is foolish for anyone to assume that a military action against Iran can benefit any nation tactically or strategically.
Let's not pretend
by ali hakkak on Thu May 08, 2008 04:02 PM PDTLet's not pretend that Iran has got nothing to do with Iraq and Palestine. It'll come out soon and it'll only take a few crazy people like Bolton to march armies twoards our beloved country.
The fact of the matter is the only we can avoid the Iran-war (and it doesn't matter which country will get involved first, U.S. or Israel) is a major shift in Iran's policies towards west. To me that shift is only plausible if there is a major structural change in Iran's government. And that's up to us Iranians.
I do agree with " mash "
by Majid on Thu May 08, 2008 04:00 PM PDTAny attack on Iran would translate to yet another victory for and by mullahs.
Also that's our national investments that is going to be smoked .
Just halt the exportation of gasoline for couple months and see the results for yourselves.
I know, even in that case it's going to be average Iranians who suffer the most, but that's one very important tactic to get people motivated! don't you think?

by Zion on Thu May 08, 2008 03:52 PM PDTI do not agree with you. Bolton is one of the few politicans today who understands the stakes and the danger the free world faces. I don`t know on what basis you find him discredited. The UN is a corrupt, pathetic and dysfunctional institution. Bolton spoke bluntly the facts as they should have been spoken by others as well. Unfortunately the situation is getting more and more similar to that of late 1930s. Back then also those liek Churchil who understood the Nazi threat were ridiculed and considered `discredited`. The mood was pacifism, after the terrible events of WWI and mistaken policies before and after that, just like the war on Iraq is threated today. I`m afraid the future will judge very differently from your assertions here.
It is true that Iranian
by azarinia (not verified) on Thu May 08, 2008 03:15 PM PDTIt is true that Iranian militiamen interfere in Iraq's affairs and help to train fighters in Iraq, so why is it so wrong to bomb these training camps? Bunch of bastards that we all hate (pasdar and basiji) will die in process. As long as no civilians are killed I don't see anything wrong with it. They would do the poor people of Iran a favour to get rid of some of these thugs.
Bolton has every right to
by pragmatist (not verified) on Thu May 08, 2008 02:40 PM PDTBolton has every right to call for an immdiate bombing of specific targets in Iran. The sooner the Islamic regime is crippled the better for Iran and the whole world. I can reveal that the bombing will take place in a near future and the number of targets is so large that the IRI will be damaged beyond repair. The rest is up to the nation to get rid of this monster or to help it rise again.
One of these days the truth will come out!
by farrad02 on Thu May 08, 2008 02:26 PM PDTI envision the day (soon) we all see news flash reports on CNN and Fox News (ok may be not Fox News :) that John Bolton has been arrested with a male prostitute, high on cocaine, in the bad neighborhoods of Baltimore, Maryland! He just looks and talks and acts like he suffers from deep sexual frustration. That and too much money from Israel lobby!
Zion....
by Kaveh Nouraee on Thu May 08, 2008 02:22 PM PDTWhile you have a very valid point that there should be some type of response to the IRI's continued interference in Iraq, John Bolton is simply not the guy to convey the message.
He had virtually zero credibility when he was nominated UN ambassador, and has even less now, if that's possible. You should know by now that I loathe the IRI and everything it stands for. I cannot wait for the day when all of those criminals are dealt with once and for all.
But we both know that there has to be a better way to do it, and a better guy than Bolton to hear it from. I can't say I know where or who, but it's out there.

The reason that they keep talking about it shows their weakness. American Government is a disgrace to the world. American people need to get back their goverment from the zionists, just like we need to get back our goverment from Khamenei gang! but if i had to choose between US Gov. or Iran Gov. i would be glad to settle with the islamic republic. atleast they are not mass murdering people.

Hopefully, GW Bush, Rumsfeld, Cheney, Rice, Feith, Wolfowitz, Bolton, and Powell will all be put on trial by the International Criminal Court for crimes against humanity. At the minimum, when they leave office, antiwar activists will sue them in every nation around the world, so that they would not be able to set foot anywhere outside the US.
Racist
by Ali Pournourbakhsh (not verified) on Thu May 08, 2008 12:40 PM PDTTo racist pigs like him there is no value on the life of Iranians. To them we are considered sub-human. His father thought the same about the Irish and Italians at the begining of the last century. Watch the news and see for yourself. One White guy dies somewhere in the world and there is 3 weeks of news on all networks. A million Iranians died during the 8 year war and they acted like if it was Orkin man killing roaches. They shot down the Iranian airliner for no reason, but to kill inocent civilians and they said something about it for 2 minutes and 20 years later they are not talking about it at all. These are the scums that give America a bad name. They should be put in Gitmo with the rest of the terrorists.

This is the same idiot that tried to spin intelligence to support his views and political objectives on a number of occasions such as: weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, also said that Iraq had attempted to procure yellowcake uranium from Niger, which was a load of BS.
Told the House of Representatives International Relations subcommittee that Syria's development of biological, chemical and nuclear weapons had progressed to such a point that they posed a threat to stability in the region. In fact, Bolton’s appearance was cancelled after CIA and other intelligence agencies said that assessment was exaggerated. And so on...

The joke played on American people is that George W Bush put this clown in the UN as the US Ambassador but sensibility prevailed

DK, unfortunately, the downside of free speech and free expression of ideas is that, along with the sharing of positive dialogue among people, we get the unsavory by-products like John Bolton. Sadly, it comes as a set.

Iran Better Be Ready
by Dariush (not verified) on Thu May 08, 2008 09:17 AM PDTIs it possible Neocons want to get rid of Israel, but want Iran to do it for them?
If not why they push their luck?
IF THEY BOMB IRAN. Iran will not hesitate and retaliate with full force and there will be no stopping it then. Bush will use the Executive order, halt the election, and stay in power and make this word war III.
Some say, to be safe, Iran should distribute population from large cities to villages to minimize casualties and have chemical protection suit and mask for public and in addition to that bullet proof wests for army. Something we didn't have before and could have saved most of our casualties. Iran better be ready and don't take this as sycological game!!!
