This guy lived in Iran and was let go in December with forged documents. He went to Turkey and was detained for a while and finally deported to Jordan where he was apprehended and brought to the US.
He lived freely in Iran with other Al-Qaeda people and Osama's kids and were free to use phones to communicate to others. Osama's daughter somehow ended up at the Saudi embassy in Tehran a while ago and returned to Saudi Arabia. The Regime said that she escaped while on a shopping trip! Imagine that. It is like saying Moussavi escaped from house arrest while buying Sangak!
This guy was under CIA surveillance for a while which tells me that there are more CIA guys in Iran than there are in McLean, VA!

This guy had no operational background or knowledge that could be of any use to the US. His only value is about the 10 years that he lived in Iran and the relationship between Al-Qaeda and the Regime. He was dumped at the Turkish border with fake documents. Turkey refused to extradite him to the US. While Kerry was in Turkey, he arranged for Turkey to deport him to Jordan and then have the Jordanians arrest him and turn him over to the US.
If there is going to be a concession by the Regime of this nature, it will be the release of former FBI agent Levinson who has been in the news lately and has been held by the Regime for 6 years.
