For people inside Iran it has been nothing but disastrous to say the least.
If you look an any and all INDEPENDENT economic analysis of Iranian economy (that means Press TV and other propaganda arms of IR do not qualify for objective analysis) they ALL point out to a %1.00 to %1.50 reduction of Iranian GDP for the next year (mainly due to a sharp drop in revenues of Oil export).
What is fascinating is that how both supporters of sanctions and supporters of the regime, both deny the everyday negative effects of sanctions on daily lives of Iranians, especially the poor and working class.
Perhaps both these camps (sanction supporters, and regime supporters) really don't give a hoot about Iranian people. In the final analysis Iranian people for both of them are mere instruments to achieve their goals.
