Let's summurize ongoing issue.
The plane traveled to Syria via "Shia establishment" in Iraq which is in full cooperation with ruling mullahs in Iran.
Sunni fundamentalists, including Salafists, Al Ghaedeh, and supporters of former Lybian president Gaddafi, shut down the plane. These forces so called "Rebels". They have something in common. They are all Sunni fundamentalist. They're all anti "Jews" and "Shia". Please remember decapitation of 12 Shia Iranian diplomats in "Mazar e Sharif in Afghanistan" when they had power in Afghanistan.
We also hear left and right the killing of Shia by Sunni fundamentalists such as Wahabis in Pakistan.
Asad is "Walking dead man". We all know it. He will be gone any day. It is a matter of time. U.S is trying to manipulate the whole situation in favor of "Free World interests". They appointed a Syrian person as a future president. The guy is currently living in Texas for last 30 years. Rumors say he is on payroll by C.I.A. Export president made in U.S.A.
Highly unlikely America will come out successful in this game.
Sunni fundamentalists have upper hands. They're planing to overthrow Shia establishment in Iraq as well. That is the next target for these "Rebels".
Soon Nouri Al Maleki will be history. Soon the geopolitic of Middle East will be changed in favor of Sunni Fundamentalism. I think "free world" under leadership of U.S will be the only loser. I hope that doesn't happen.

The only part where you made a mistake was in your view that USA will be loser. The USA wants and is fully behind arming Sunni Extremism with its eye on Iraq, the losers are the people of Syria and Iraq that will be getting murdered in order to oil the USA and friends exports in weapons. Every 100 Billion Dollars of Saudi and GCC oil money leaves the Arabian Penninsula to pay for weapons for Syria, will help kick start the USA economy out of its anemic state. The New Role for the People of Syria, Iraq, Iran and Afghanistan is to be slaughtered for profit. This is not the right conditions to be having discussions about whether Iran can be a democracy, when it can not cope with western political, economic or military domination. Iranians need to see the US role of Divide and conquer and act against it. Being Anti-Mohammed Reza Pahlavi and calling him a torturing, crooked, dictator was the aim of the USA against Iran by misinforming Iranian Public Opinion and having Iranians act on perceptions that were totally false with the aim of weakening Iran. USA/France/UK/Israel/Jordon/Turkey are arming and aiding the Sunni extremists, to win the cost will be catastrophic for humanity.

Syria doesn't have oil.

"USA/France/UK/Israel/Jordon/Turkey are arming and aiding the Sunni extremists," Manuchehr Khosrodad

Seems you didn't read the above report. It says:

"the Syrian Free Army has shot down an Iranian cargo plane over Damascus Airport"

We all know Iranian cargo plane were carrying weapons to aid Asad forces,That was Iranian cargo plane, NOT U.S, NOT U.K, NOT Israel.....NOT..China NOT Russia.....
The rebels also arrested many of Iranian revolutionary guards in Syria not long ago. The war is between Sunni fundamentalists and Alavi which is branch of Shia. It has nothing to do with oil. Syria doesn't have oil anyway. Criminal ruling mullahs in Iran are supporting terrorist group of Hezbollah, Hamas via Syria.
Islamization of whole world under hegemony of Shia clergies were mullah's agenda from the day 1 they came to power. That has nothing to do with France, U.K......... and all those countries you mentioned.
Khomaini frequently said in his public appearance that "our youths are thinking to put the flag of Islam on the top of white house". That was clear message to modern world. The proxy war that criminal mullahs master minded during last 34 years in Lebanon, Gaza, and Iraq (during Iraq's liberation) is well documented.
U.S lost Iran in 1979. U.S lost Egypt in 2011. In 1979 Shia fundamentalism won the game in Iran. In 2011 Sunni fundamentalism won the game in Egypt.
Obama adminstration recently decided to negociate and settle for Tablibans in Afghanistan. That is another loss for "free world".
The Syrian guy who lives in Texas doesn't have a chance to hold the position as a president and Syria will be another loss for U.S. Sunni fundamentalism will be prevail in both Syria and Iraq.
I hope I am making mistake.

The Extremist Opposition to Assad is getting its weapons from oil money of Saudi Arabia, and six other oil producing Sunni countries, they are the ones that will be drained to pay for future syrian wars with Iraq as they were once before drained by the USA, when they paid to fund saddam. So the People of the GCC countries will not be benefiting from their oil revenue. This is the USA getting ahead and "Oiling its manufacturing economy" based on exporting death, weapons and extremism and making a region more backwards, with out access to its own resources, which are all key US goals.

Also Syria has had its golan heights taken from it by Israel, which is rich in both oil and gas, it is also rich in oil next to its coast, though neither are yet exploited. Iran and Iraqs oil revenue will be used to back Iraq to try to keep the majority Shia in control, so their people will be drained also. This is a business and the USA is not losing by backing Sunni Extremists, it is a central pillar of the US method of dominating the entire region for the last 40 years, and the American People like the people of Iran have no choice or clue in the matter.

"The Extremist Opposition to Assad is getting its weapons from oil money of Saudi Arabia, and six other oil producing Sunni countries" Manucher khosrodad

The above statement fails to address the main issue. What did Asad do to the people of those countries (GCC) that those establishments are willing to give up their oil for toppling Asad.?
Of course, U.S, Russia, China, India......... are around to make business. They're all looking for their own profits. Any establishment in the world is looking for their own pockets. Is that a news.? Of course NOT.

"Iran and Iraqs oil revenue will be used to back Iraq to try to keep the majority Shia in control, so their people will be drained also." Manuchehr khosrodad

No Shia is NOT majority in Iraq. Sunni are majority. This is a mistake Americans make. They separate Kurds from Sunni so the Shia becomes majority. Kurds are Sunni.
Majority Sunni in Iraq is ruling by minority Shia. That is the correct configuration, NOT the one American claims.
Now, Minority Shia in Iraq controled and they're in full cooperation with Shia clergies in Iran. The above cargo plan was travelling to Syria via Baghadad, Iraq.
Al Ghaedeh is very active in Iraq. Ongoing bombing in downtown Baghdad every now'n then is materminded by Sunni fundamentalists Al Ghaedeh.
For further information you may read the manscripts of political activist "Al-Zarqawi". The bastard was killed by U.S troops in Baghdad during Iraq liberation. He clearly stated in his manscript that "Strategy is to fight with infidel U.S.A on the ground of Iraq. Historically Iraq has been battlefield for Sunni muslims. Islamic states (Emarats) should be re-established. Each state (Emarrat) should governed by Khalifeh".
He was Jordanian born terrorist.

amirparvizforsecularmonarchy I Love Waterfalls and Find One of the most humorous things in the world; is the notion that Americans are a greater force for good & more civilized than Nazi's, Mullahs and Communists.

Faramarz in case you were lazy, from the memoirs of the head of the french secret service http://www.historycommons.org/entity.jsp?entity=alexandre_de_marenches_1:

Count Alexandre de Marenches, Head of the French intelligence-services, was greatly admired by the Shah, who also thought of him as a friend. He too warned the Sovereign in no uncertain terms. Later, in his memoirs, the Count wrote, "one day, I mentioned to the Shah the names of those Americans, who had been assigned to plan his deposition and replacement.

"I had myself been present at a meeting, where one of the questions raised was 'how do we get rid of the Shah, and with whom shall we replace him?'

"The Shah was unwilling to believe me," de Marenches continues, "saying, 'I believe you about everything else, but not about this.'

'"But, Sire,' I said, 'why will you not believe me on this point also?'

"'Because,' he said, 'it would be stupid to replace me!'

'"I am the best defender of the west,' he went on, 'in this part of the world; I have the best army and the greatest power: the whole thing is so absurd, that I cannot possibly believe. Further on, Count de Marenches notes: "but the Americans had made their decision."

How about this?

Shah was sick and dying and passed away in the summer of 1980 at the age of 60. With or without conspiracy theories, the late Shah would have still passed away in 1980, give or take a few months. At that point, given all the internal turmoil in Iran, neither Hoveyda nor Farah Pahlavi could have calmed things down and we were looking at an Islamist Regime or a military coup.

So let's move on!

amirparvizforsecularmonarchy I Love Waterfalls and Find One of the most humorous things in the world; is the notion that Americans are a greater force for good & more civilized than Nazi's, Mullahs and Communists.

You Know Faramarz, the Late Shahs Sister is alive and well in her 90's. Why are you assuming the Late Shah have passed away at any rate in 1980? Are you aware had the Late Shah not had Cancer the entire 1979 revolution would have gone down a very different path and not towards the death of millions of Iranians. He had no choice left to him for saving Iran from being thwarted with the cancer he had. When Savak had 1000 key terrorists in Jail not a single demonstration occurred in all Iran, it was the process of doing the opposite under US Coercion that gave the IRI.

I highly recommend you read http://www.studien-von-zeitfragen.de/Eurasien/Shah_of_Iran/shah_of_iran.html which mentions Billions of Dollars in Planning and execution according to the head of the SDECE who was involved in it. Again please get your self a dictionary, and look up conspiracy theories. It is not a conspiracy theory planned by a few people, when it involves entire national institutions acting to execute a policy. Misusing words is not going to increase your wisdom, but decrease it severely.

I don't think that man ever landed on the moon! It was all staged! So was 9-11.

I also believe that Shah is still alive and lives next door to Osama, JFK and Jimmy Hoffa somewhere in Florida!

B. Asad graduated with medical degree from U.K university. He is a medical doctor. He goes to bed every night with a hot, sexy British chick (pretty blond) who happened to be his wife. He speaks very fluent English. He appears in public with western attire of suit and tie. He is well shaved, well dressed gentleman. One Iranian claimed he served B.Asad in a penthouse with Whisky and Italian food during the time of his father's presidency. The Iranian guy read the name "B.Asad" on his credit card. At that time he didn't know he was serving Hafez Asad's son.
Unlike Salafists, B.Asad has secular and somwhat democratic establishment. Asad separates church from state and gives social freedom to Syrians.
Giving the above profile of Asad, west residing Iranians relates to him much more than UNeducated Salafists. Salafists are another version of Talibans.
Because west residing Iranians hate ruling mullahs in Iran, they are willing to take a side with Sunni fundamentalists than Asad. That is exactly the same as what happened in Iran back in 70's. We are just emotional people. That is our problem.

faramarz

Faramarz

You missed a little detail.

The western-educated, whiskey-drinking, pasta-eating Assad with the hot wife aligned himself many years ago with the most despicable, blood-thirsty, backward Regime in the world, the Islamic republic. And he did it not out of fear of other Islamists, or Salafists, but rather to continue to rule a country with the iron fist, just like his daddy.

No Faramarz that is US Media Propaganda talking. A US Media that doesn't discuss its own Love for the IRI, how it brought the IRI to power and everything Americans have done and are doing to keep the IRI in Power against the will of Most Iranians within Iran. A media which doesn't even explain why the USA is doing this, what is the real US goal and why did it require the late shah to be deposed? The Policy Includes The USA backing Saddam and Being the Sole Cause behind the Iran/Iraq war with the aim of keeping IRI in power. The aim of removing Assad is known as containment of the IRI, not removal of the IRI. If Assad stays and Iran gets a nuke, that nuke can travel right into anywhere in Israel with out any ones knowledge. So this is not about removing the IRI as it is about keeping them in power, regardless of them getting a nuke. For Syria Assads Alliance with Islamic Fundamentalists in Iran is secondary to his key Alliance with Russia and China any person with political knowledge knows this. Also a part of his country has been occupied by Israel and stolen by war and Syrians have an interest regardless of IRI to ally with any power that opposes Israel which is their enemy and has taken away the oil and gas rich golan heights. That happens to be IRI as all the arabs are not as stupid as IRI.

To see this as an issue of a man wanting to rule a country with an Iron fist like a tyrant and opposing democracy is the deceptive narrative of the American Dictatorship which is helping the salafist taliban not democracy, pesar jaan, to the American Dictatorship, Chavez was a Dictator.

I was reading above statement and I see the writer has a good point. Syrians and all those Sunni fundamentalists were UNhappy with Asad NOT because of his aligned with the most despicable .........regime in the world.
As AmirP.. said that is secondary in compare to Russia and China. Criminal ruling mullahs in Iran has never been that much asset for Asad as much as Russia or China had been. Therefore the issue is much deeper than what we are thinking.

Mr. Fozolie

I am a little perplexed. The Saudis are supporting a crazy bunch of Sunnis who are engaged in a sectarian war and are guilty of ethnic war crimes. The Saudis are an enemy of Iran and not just the Mollafia. The news organ is a Saudi tool. As much as one hates the Mollafia or the Bashar gangsters, why do the Saudi's bidding for them.

Below has been written by a Syrian Christian. it gives better understanding of what is going on over there. The article has been written in Nov, 2012. Since then the forces such as supportive of Ghaddafi in Lybia joined Salafists in Syria as well.
Criminal ruling mullahs in Iran lied to you. They're brainwashing naive people like you to believe it is the war with Israel. Open your eyes and see the reality. Here we go:

By jigsawnovich
23-Nov-2012

As we learn from events in Syria, the current policy of using Islamic extremists to overthrow secular governments definitely endangers Christians and anyone else* who does not share the beliefs of Islamic extremists. I recently interviewed a young Christian who lives in Damascus, who concludes that, "If Salafists come to power, they will force Christian women to wear hijab (cover their hair) -- not only Muslims. Salafists sheiks announce on Al Arabia and Al Jazeera that Taliban and Al Qaeda are infidels -- so imagine how rigorous the Salafists are!!!"
Read more here:
http://voices.yahoo.com/syrian-christians-fear-per...
Please share this article with your friends, colleagues and congregation. And please question US government financial, intelligence and military support for violent Islamic extremists and mercenaries who are spun as "rebels," but who are in fact rigorously highjacking and subverting the indigenous freedom and democracy movement in Syria.

*moderate Muslims, musicians, artists, and all religious minorities

Wearing hijab by choice is an exercise in freedom. But being forced to wear hijab against one's will is an excercise in tyranny.

you're way off track buddy.
This is a war between Sunni fundamentalist SALAFI and branch of shia ALAVI.
SALAFI and ALAVI are both enemies of Israel.
Did you think Salafi who blown up this plane are friend of Israel?
That shows you're NOT in touch with reality, The same as many other people from that region.
In fact, it is better for Israel Asad stays in power because SALFI are UNeducated fundamentalist Sunni. They're a forces like Talibans in Afghanistan. Bukara for women and beard and mustach for men will be mandatory once they take power. No freedom whatsoever.
SALAFI are bigger threat for existance of Israel than ALAVI. That is the fact.
Criminal ruling mullah in Iran will be the only loser of the game once Asad toppled because Mullahs will lose only ally they had in the Middle East.
