Your last comment proves you are out of touch with the realities on the ground in Iran. All you need to do is call a wealthy relative and get the latest picture with regards to commodity prices.

I didn't say a middle class or a poor relative simply because nowadays even the wealthier Iranians are complaining about the uncertaintie surrounding the future of the economy. Not that they cannot afford the prices, but because even in Iran under the Islamic rule people are sick and tired of surprises.

You are right, the prices are in rial/toomaan. But if you had paid closer attention to the relationship between rial's devaluation against US dollar and other major currencies and the inflation in Iran, then you wouldn't be calling others, illiterate!

I have been back in iran for almost a year and half now and everytime i goout on the street and see the prices and come back home and say...oh i got so and so for 5000 toman and that is cheap, i almost get my ass kicked, so now i guess i realize that certain items are really pricey and the inflation thingy is real and this is not about "roo kam koni"
Not that i believe in these sort of crapollah anyway, but enough is enough. Of course in my mind i am still figuring prices in dollar that i used to earn back in the states, but even that is starting to hurt now.
