Remember how Obama stood silent when the Iranian government cracked down in 2009. It's against their foreign policy- democratic OR republican- to support a constructive, democratic government in Iran. Even if the Iranian people overthrow the mullahs and establish a democratic government, that's when the powers that be will step in and cause Iran's disintegration. Iran will die, and its an inevitability. Our "nationalism" is extremely hollow, any Iranian with an ounce of common sense knows this.

It's funny, we talk of Iran, Iran, Iran. But what has happened to nationalism? It's nonexistent. Nationalism is the number one threat to superpowers- that of Third World countries standing on their feet and becoming strong. Iran made this mistake by being too bellicose when it didn't even have a strong foundation. Now the superpowers will enjoy carving Iran up like a pie and supporting internal wars. They won't even have any qualms about putting the MEK in power in what remains of Iran, or the abject poverty our people will face from then on. It's the last breath of the mullahs because of this international effort, but any idiot who believe the Iranian populace will overthrow them and establish a democracy or constitutional monarchy in Iran is dead wrong. That's exactly what the superpowers DON'T want.

It's really over for Iran. It will be broken up into five different nations and is really too weak to resist it. The Iranian people were never united or strong-willed, preferring to "survive" by being passive. It's sad, but that's our reality.

Daniel Pipes is one of those people that in a just global order you would haul before some kind of Nuremberg style international criminal tribunal; convict, imprison and then permanently throw away the key and let him rot like they did to Rudolf Hess. This guy is one of the most rabid warmongers in the world at the moment and he is as bad as some of the most rabid, warmongering Nazis once were.
