همزمان با آغاز فاز دوم انقلاب فرهنگی در دانشگاه ها که به سراغ هر آنچه از چنگ کمیسار اسلامیست انقلاب فرهنگی، حاج فرج دباغ (عبدالکریم سروش)، جان سالم بدر برده بود رفتند؛ فاز مدارس با حذف سلسله شاهنشاهی از کتابهای درسی تاریخ شروع شد و روند حوزوی کردن سیستم آموزشی ادامه دارد.
محمد بنیادی، مشاور قرآنی وزیر و مدیرکل دفتر امور قرآن، نماز و عترت وزارت آموزش و پرورش اعلام کرد:
"در سال تحصیلی جدید هر روز دانشآموزان پیش از آغاز کلاس درس همزمان با ورود معلم یک آیه قرآن همراه با معانی قرائت میکنند."
البته این قرائت اجباری قرآن، سوای دروس اجباری دینی است. چیزی نمانده که مدارس در نظام پربرکت با مدرسه ها در پاکستان پهلو بزنند.

همانطور که در ماه سپتامبر سال ٢۰١١، در بالا هشدار داده شد، بدنبال تبدیل مدارس ایران به مُدل مدارس پاکستان و مغزشویی کودکان و بچه طلبه سازی هستند.
