The anti-Iranian nature of the IR. Here's Motaharri, one of the founders of their ideology calling Iranians who celebrate "chahar shanbeh soori" "ahgmaghs." I saw the video on one of Fred's blogs. I thought it should be blogged to get more exposure.

amirparvizforsecularmonarchy I Love Waterfalls and Find One of the most humorous things in the world; is the notion that Americans are a greater force for good & more civilized than Nazi's, Mullahs and Communists.

What A projection, from a member of our Corrupt Islamic authorities.

As a representative of the Islamic Religion where today many of its members and a majority of its leader are acting in a far more idiotic way. Its strange that our Mullah feels he can comment on what is not Idiotic and what is. If he would change the idiocy he is responsible for, this would be the best approach.

well, it's this type of brazen hypocrisy was one of the tools with which they came to power, and have been able to remain in power for the past 34 years.

You have a point there my friend. You don't appreciate a good thing until you lose it.

You know, I was talking to a friend once--after watching a 4th of July fireworks display in NYC--that I actually agree with the Iranian police when they tell people not to launch fireworks in populated cities such as Tehran. It's just too dangerous. NYC bans fireworks in the city as well. but then I was properly reminded by the friend that NYC also puts on a major fireworks display for people. The anti-Iranian IR, on the other hand, badmouths the Charshanbeh Souri, and tries to beat it out of the people. So, what people resort to in Iran is a combination of celebration and revenge. She was (and still is) so right.

No surprises there....
It is just an Arab observation of our culture.......they still consider Persians as Fire Worshipers......for centuries Arabs could not quiet figure out why Persians kept eternal fire as a means for better life and not a religious ritual.

Motahari, et.al could say anything they want to say. But the undeniable fact is that him & his alike had belonged, and they still do to date, to different 'cults' following their own invented 'rituals (sonnats)' under the false umbrella of religion. And as those rituals are against the GOD's pure religion and thus must all be discarded any prehistorical so called 'traditions' nonsense called as Iranian must be abandoned once for all the same way.

Demo - Thanks for the comment. But I'll have to disagree. These traditions make up the fabric that holds us together as a nation. And also bear in mind that a lot of Islamic traditions are leftover tribal practices that were incorporated into the religion.

IRANLOVESISRAEL Shlomo would love to entertain you and your significant other at his Kabab-Hammoom parlor in your next trip to Tel Aviv.

One Iranians will convert every Imamzadeh and Akhoond's grave into a public bathroom.

I hope this sentiment is not interpreted as an anti religion statement!

Ya lord Mousa!
