Why News Items are allowed to be posted under the blog?

The following is related to the image used by Fred on a news item. These two are not related.   He has chosen a graphic photo of a Palestinian child and under it he starts with this quote form the news :

""This was the fate of the young female journalist H.KA, who befriended a colleague from a prestigious European newspaper at a government-organized conference in Tehran in February 2010"

 Here is his entire published blog and my comment ..

" The photo that was originally posted by Fred is removed due to its graphic nature and readers request "

Stoning Iranian reporter

"This was the fate of the young female journalist H.KA, who befriended a colleague from a prestigious European newspaper at a government-organized conference in Tehran in February 2010. She was summoned to the intelligence ministry a few days later and questioned about her relationship with a “foreign agent”. She was accused of spying and of having sexual relations with a “miscreant”, and was threatened with stoning or the death penalty unless she co-operated.

She was forced to sign a statement that she had been raped by her foreign colleague and subsequently to entice him to go to an area close to nuclear installations. H.KA, now in exile, is still subjected to pressure through her family.”

The above is from the latest warning issued by the Reporters Without Borders, “THREATS AGAINST MEDIA WORKERS AND FAMILIES SHOW REGIME’S TRUE FACE

The weaponized nuke acquiring Messianic Islamists have ramped up their savagery, it is up to the sane world to say NO.

Kick out their spy/reporters in the sane world, close down their spy centers/embassies like Canada and England have done. STOP pussyfooting with this vile regime.

Thanks for posting this eyeopening news on the treatment that Journalists and their family are getting in the hands of IRI. I pray for a day that Iranians stand up for their rights and demand democratic laws to be implemented in their land. It is a shame that IRI does all of these bad stuff and gets along with it. It is a shame if any other country on earth does these stuff and gets along with it. I think the closing of embassy should not only be applied to Iran but also any other country that does bad stuff.... BUT , FRED, why do not you post this under news section with the link for everyone to read rather than submitting it as a blog? This way YOU DO NOT HAVE to use an image that says more about BiBI than anyone else?

Should I go on? This photo is almost everywhere on the internet under BiBi's bad deeds !

A note to Fred's Sarbazan, no need to come one by one and yell at me. I am not the one who is relating this news to BiBI. Fred has already related it by choosing that photo ... That is why the best way to read any news is to be given a link for that and get it posted on the news section... that will automatically pull out the right photo !

just my 2 cents ..

Perhaps admin should make a note cause in the old IC news were supposed to be posted on the news section only !

I have read the exchange on Fred's blog and I think that your point has been made. Removing this blog from the home page as it is just too gruesome. In the next few weeks, when the new layout is ready and the editor/staff are in place, all content will be moderated before being published.

Well I think they can all be "published" but moderated to be on the "front page". This way the "freedom of speech" is saved but "freedom to ruin" is moderated!

Sosani your sympathy for my wasted breakfast is appreciated, but since you have repeated tis abomination for a second time by re posting of such horror, you remain an enabler.
The excuse of using it to raise you're point is also total baloney, you could have simply state your case, refer to the photo, by giving precaution and advise on the graphic content. Is that too hard?
And who's going to make up for my breakfast?

Sosani dear, this delicious something you'll be sending tomorrow, unless it includes:
Organic Grapefruit,
Corn-beef Hash with ginger and garlic, topped with smoked Mozzarella cheese,
Grits with raspberry, blueberry, chopped almond, walnut and pecan in it,
accompanied by a cup of pumpkin coffee,
it might be a poor substitute, but a substitute better than none. Besides it's the thought that counts. So, thank you.
Now, after all this complaining appetite is back.
On ward to an all vegetarian lunch, cheers

Beautiful. Thanks for posting these delightful faces and voices.

I am a Palestinian child. I am a Palestinian child.
People think, I am meek and mild.
I was born in the midst of fire,
Coffin on the body is my attire;
I can face everything, dark and dire,
The time fails to sink me in its mire.

I am a Palestinian child. I am a Palestinian child.
People think, I am meek and mild.
Always ready for bullets is my chest,
The bombs can never dampen my zest;
My blood is meant for my country's best,
Only in the grave, I shall take my rest.

I am a Palestinian child. I am a Palestinian child
People think, I am meek and mild.
I aspire for peace , have love for all,
I want to demolish the religion's wall;
When the world is weeping on my fall,
I must also try to rise high and tall.

I am a Palestinian child. I am a Palestinian child
People think, I am meek and mild.
Playing with death, is my ordinary game,
For me , earth and sky are all the same;
I am a violent storm, no power can tame,
My enemy will suffer a lasting shame.

I am a Palestinian child. I am a Palestinian child .
People think, I am meek and mild.
Desire for freedom makes me wild,
I am a Palestinian child. I am a Palestinian child.

Sosani there should be a limit on all shocking, attention grabbing, graphics on IC. Body less head of a child does qualify as such. One ought not to have a day started like that. Your choice of photos ruined my entire breakfast, thanx!

That was not my choice of photo... I just copy and paste what Fred chose earlier for his blog... Please read the entire thing ... Since him choosing this specific photo is the main topic here ... I have no choice but to let it be.

But I agree and I am Sorry !
