What I find incredible about this clip is Khamenei's sarcastic and dismissive attitude towards the people in the room, who are supposedly the "inner circle" of the Regime.
Unlike the late Shah who heard the "voices of the revolution" and realized that the Iranian people wanted a change, and turned the keys over to Bakhtiar, Khamenei is not going to hear anyone's voices for change.
Therefore, the path forward for the Iranian people who want freedom and democracy will not be through a peaceful "free election/referendum".
