For instance, how in the world one could raise his/her voice where the bloggers have been indiscriminately equipped with a voice silencer to delete any comment(s) don't like and arbitrarily block their blogs to whomsoever they don't like to hear from?

In the absence of a full time editor, I believe that people should limit their postings to 4-5 per day and not suck all the oxygen out of the front page, especially when the postings do not get much views or comments, and are not original material either, but rather a paste from somewhere else.
One would hope that people would self-police, the same way that at a dinner party you don't take all the Tah-Digs or Kabobs, and leave some for the others!
We'll see.
