Naive Iranians who fall for mullahs 34 years ago fall for these garbages once again. Mullahs supporters were bad mouthing shah in those days. They were hoping mullahs, who can't even control his body odor, makes Iran like a paradise.
Smart Iranians know better. The proof is that they are not willing to exchange their life style in Europe or America with living in China. There are still big line of Iranians, Asians in the front of European,U.S embassies begging for visa. Something that never happened when shah was on power. American embassy was open and rarely Iranians were thinking to migrate to U.S.
Now, look what happened once shah left the country, There are still so many Iranians, Asians die to immigrant to U.S. That became greatest wish for Iranian girls marry someone who is holding citizenship of Europe or U.S.

The number of Americans, Brits and Canadians wishing to move over to Iran for either work or retirement was larger than the number of Iranians leaving Iran permanently in the 1970's, to be fair Iran was creating more than enough high paying work for qualified Iranians either within Iran or coming back with degrees from the western world. Mullahs were attacking the shah out of their ignorance and the rest were fooled too.

Iranian were not wise enough to realize that shah and savak was serving their human rights, progress, peace and prosperity. Freedom and Justice were better than anywhere else in the region and while not perfect always getting better with time than just a few years earlier. So basically Iranians were so unwise they were used to thwart their own good leadership, to betray a good man who really used his conscience.

During shah's days everybody like to come to Iran to work. Arabs, pakinstanis, Indians..... and many other countries were jealous of Iranians. Our country was the best country in the M.E. Dimond of Persian Gulf. Rarely Iranians were thinking about immigrating to western countries.

During shah days, "Troops of education" were sent to villages to educate rural people. The rate of illiteracy from 85% in 50's dropped to 45% by late 70's.
