To make a long story short, in my humble opinion " Prisoner of the Day," was perhaps the most significant column on this site, and  main source of attraction, at least for me.

Don't mean to be one sided about Iranian affairs or to assign a "priviliged" position to our Political Prisoners in Iran but, as we all know, when dealing with Islamic Republic of Hell we need to make priorities and take into consideration what is important, what is most important and what is vital. And in the overall scheme of things, the defense of Iranian Political prisoners is vastly important and most vital to establishment of democracy and people's rule in our beloved homeland.

At the same time, I don't mean to be reductive or simplistic about how that column came about to be a daily feature on this site. If I'm not mistaken "Prisoner of the Day," was product of a long, extensive collaborative effort and process between JJ and other contributers to this site (many thanks to all of them for their contributions).

Whereas in this new format, with less emphasis on edtiorship and perhaps not all of the "old gang" yet on board, we might not have the same resources as we previously had, but in my humble opinion our task remains the same.
Meaning: it behooves every single one of us to contribute to raising the issue of Political Prisoners in Iran, to the extent that hopefully in the very near future we could once again have a daily column, dealing, informing and organizing us about our most courageous political prisoners. And hopefully contributing to their freedom.
