I love Mahler. It is amazing how he has taken a simple piece like "Frere Jacques" and tranformed it into a masterpiece. Mahler 1 (Titan) and 2 (Auferstehung) are my favorites. Since you are a pianist you may want to take a look at his Piano Quartet in A minor. It is gorgeous.

در مورد پیانو کوارتت هم باید فکر کنم....نوازنده بیشتر دم دستم نیست...ولی شاید بتونم چند تا تغییر کوچولو بدم که با نوازنده کمتری بشود نواخت

I am sure it will be wonderful to hear an out of the box interpretation of his the Piano Quartet. You may even at some stage want to challenge yourself to play Albeniz's Asturias. Many believe, and I have no way of knowing since I am not a pianist, that it is the most difficult piece written for the piano, apparently even more difficult that Rach 2
