Consciously or not, so they are robbing the intellect and the soul of the people again. The confused and lost generation who has no clue and desperately is seeking anything which ‘feels good”? Opium, Crack, Heroin or HOPE, is falling for it again. The new generation of charlatans is at work again!
New generations of intellectual charlatans are emerging. It is no longer the “Satanic Words” of Ali Shariaty, the ill-natured fanatical anti-everything preaching of a reformed communist called Jalal-All-Ahmad, or separatist cries of a literary figure and children story teller called Bahrangy. It is a new age, the age of Internet, the age of “visiting scholars” at universities , Professors and “authorities” , and those that never will admit that they are people who ultimately must decide, one by one! Look around and see the new faces, you see Abdol-Karim Dabaagh, Paasdar Ganji, Paasdar Sazgaara, The twin Sadri brothers, Akhoond Saanei, and the list is long inside and outside of Iran. Akhoonds painted with a new color, Sabzs’ rotting in a dead swamp, failed reformers changing title to “agents of change!” And above all rapidly growing crowd of pseudointellectual/philosophers in Iran who with an outburst of some convoluted philosophical syntax (mostly “translated” by their own kind) dismiss anything and everybody from A to Z. Nietzsche was mentally ill, Michel Foucault was a gay man, and of course Marx was a communist of course—but an ISLAMIC one could be acceptable!!! Post Modern sucks, Pre-Modern did not exist!
These self-proclaimed philosophers and social/political thinkers will do you the same favor that their fathers and (some) mothers did in bringing the Iranian nation the site of a bloody beard of an Imam engraved into the solid rock cliffs of the Moon! They were the gunpowder and supporters of the most lies and distortions in our history; they paved the road and made it possible to what you are experiencing now.
These new and not so new kids on the block are the misguided sons and daughters of the repented or un-repented failed agents, born again recovered members of who knows what! From Constitutional revolution of 1904-6 to anti-revolution of 1979 the Iran’s enemy and her plan has been out there—books, sermons, lecture (200 hours of it Hojatiyeh Ershaad by the nefarious Khaaen Shariaty) and other sources not forgetting Imam’s clear writings and his description of heaven on earth! Which one of those fathers and mothers of 57 did care to read, learn and think why they are clinching their fists and most importantly for what reason and alternative? Masses intoxicated by emotions duped with unrealistic and phony promises and illusion of what it could be did what for generations all have to pay for it. Don’t fall into the same trap, we all deserve a lot better.
