Thanks everyone for the revolution of 1979!

Balatarin

The 1979 revolution has been the pivotal moment of contemporary Iranian progress, and here I would like to thank everyone involved.

1.      His Imperial Majesty, for:

a.       Forgoing the constitutional monarchy, assuming full power and taking as much oil money as desired;

b.      Antagonizing the Shiite out of muslims (calendar change, sex filled media, Baha’i government);

c.       Mandatory obedience to the one-party rule (Rastakhiz) – enforced by Savak through rape and torture.

2.      The circus of sycophants around HIM, for:

a.       Not daring to tell HIM the truth, and pandering to his every whim;

b.      Filling their own pockets with as much petro dollars as fast as possible;

c.       Creating all sorts of shortages and inflation, through greed, hording and collusion.

3.       The Jewish-Baha’i alliance, for:

a.       Assuming most power over government (e.g. half the Hoveyda cabinet), the various banks and even the Savak;

b.      Brainwashing the weak and imbecile Shah, and undermining HIM’s constitutional role (the protector of Islam);

c.       Running away at first signs of trouble, with all cash they had or could “borrow” from the banks.

4.      All the various opposition groups, who were so blinded by a dark hatred of Shah, that they couldn’t see anything good about HIM, and couldn’t detect anything wrong with Khomeini.

PS: it is not that only some of us have been stupid. No, not at all … in fact most of us are stupid enough to ensure the continuous demise of Iran … just wait and see what happens after IRI.

Zendanian An injury to one is an injury to all.

So, those "Hojatieh" brothers working with SAVAK, back in the days, are they also part of your sponsors? Or they're just your "foreign relations experts"?

During cold war, Shah's administration along with his secret police S.A.V.A.K played major role in expanding global democracy in the region. Iran was the land of stability and prosperity during shah days. Dimond of Persian Gulf. Iran foreign policy had a deep impact on the neighborhood countries such as Afghanistan, Pakinstan.
Consequently, Afghanistan under the presiden Dawood and Pakistan under President Zia Al Haq were the land of stability with no bloodshed or harboring terrorist camps.
LONG LIVE DEMOCRACY
LONG LIVE FREEDOM

Compare Savak and its treatement of Iranians with Russia, China, the FBI, MI6, France etc and for sure Irans Savak was many times better than the rest. It did not perform torture and had very strong controls in place to prevent it, that is a very very important point, most of the others do. It did kill people, though unlike the rest it had to give proof and get a lawful order to do so. It also killed far fewer than the FBI does in 10 years, during its entire existence. Common Mehrban, lets put our hands together give it up for SAVAK.

Iran did not have the capability to manage a democratic system and maintain its freedom and independence, rastakhiz may not have been a popular, but it was a realistic solution for a country that did not even have industry 5 years before. Of course, if you feel democracy is more important than freedom and independence then your view is correct, for example Haiti, India and South Africa all have democratic systems and none enjoy freedom and independence on their own matters.

One wonders if Iranians realize the difficulties powers like Russia and China have in moving towards democracy with out being dominated from with in. I wonder if enough Iranians are capable of realizing that Russia has many more educated people than iran and they are going to be going towards democracy at a much slower and more realistic pace than Iranians desire. Personally I doubt it, no disrespect, when Mehrban says A single party Rastakhiz was unreasonable for Iranians, a moderate, Iranian people are in deep s$%t.

Rastakhiz was a chosen path by patriotic individuals based on realism not unreasonableness. History Proved them right too, had the nation supported Rastakhiz it would have done far better than the thwarting that would have also occurred for the same reasons and just as badly had Iran been purely democratic. The interests of the G7 world are as clear as the light of day for Iranians, what is funny is Iranians believe anything they are told. Monarchists: We saw no evil. We heard no evil. We spoke no evil.

SAVAK tortured, period. And the so-called king supported it. You have also made this absurd comparison to other "security" agencies around the world who have tortured. So what? Even if we assume that your claim is correct, then you are saying that Iranians should be happy they were tortured less!? We should worship the Pahlavis like you, because they beat us less? You also consistently compare the Pahlavi regime to the Clerical regime. Isn't that setting the bar pretty damn low? So by your assessment, Iranians only deserve dictatorships and should be happy with the one that tortures and kills them less! You sound like an abused house wife, begging to be beaten only once a day.

No gourbagheh I have spoken with people who have claimed they were tortured and told them personally they should be grateful they are certain this life is all their is. Because being a tool for disinformation a manipulation that cut so deeply and caused so much blood to spill, would reserve them a place in eternal hell if it existed. I know they are lying. They know it too. Though they made it up without concern for Irans well being, unlike the shah.

No one doubts that Savak killed people, the issue of torture I fully dispute, because the human controls were too tight and the training too professional for it to have been a realistic possible, when it was against the culture and code of principals of the organization. And it is important that we remind the hypocrites about torture when it is part of their code of practice today. Not because Savak did it less, but unlike the US, Savak opposed it.

To bring Khomeini to Power to thwart Iran the West used to compare the late shahs team with heaven on earth and find him at fault and then compare themselves with Stalin and Hitler. The late shahs Iran in terms of Human rights, Corruption, Peace and Progress was far better than the west. That is my point, agree or not is your prerogative. Just look in disgust at what their media produces and the money for which it lies.

(this is by an inhumane west that sells itself to the world as a bunch of great humanitarians. an aggressive war starting west (unlike a peaceful shah), A corrupt too big to face justice west ie libor crimes of 300 Billion per year per 0.01% for over 25 decades in collusion with government knowledge (unlike a team of untouchables with the late shah). Think through the rest yourself.
