Recently, a painting from an anonymous " artist was donated. Maybe after the auction, the real identity of this gifted artist will be revealed?
The buyer may be the new owner of a treasure from a well regarded Iranian artist?

A number of internationally-acclaimed Iranian artists and artists of Iranian origin have donated works to a collection: Art for Alireza.
Through the generosity of these artists and other donors, The Prince Alireza Pahlavi Fund for Ancient Iran Studies is well on it’s way to being fully funded and achieving the goal established by Shahbanou Farah for the endowment.
These gifts of art are available for acquisition to benefit Ancient Iran Studies at Harvard University.

Good news! To date, over 20 paintings have been donated to the foundation to be auctioned in April 2014 in support of the Prince Alireza Pahlavi Foundation (PARP).
Iranian artists around the world have heard the request for help and gladly responded. Thank you.
