Panahi's defiance

Balatarin

Iran's Jafar Panahi has defied a 20-year ban on filmmaking to secretly co-direct "Closed Curtain", a multi-layered portrayal of how restrictions on his work and movement have brought on depression and even thoughts of suicide.”

For the past 34 years the ruling Islamists, “reformers” and all have done all they could to break Iranians and mold them in their own barbaric image.

Nothing doing, Iran and Iranians have seen savages come and go, this shall pass as well.

Kudos to Panahi, his defiance is the embodiment of Iranian spirit.

Panahi is a National Treasure. Imagine if he could express himself without the oppression of the Islamic Republic of Terror.

Each and every Iranian is going Iranian on the Messianic Islamist Rapists.
The end of this national nightmare is not that far off, it is not.

You use the word "reformer" in a way to say that they are all the same. But when writing about Panahi, do you know that he weared the green banner and still supports the Green movement which is pretty much lead by the reformers. So you are bashing reformers but at the same time hailing a reformist supporter, a bit illogical and paradoxal. But then maybe you like to be absurd.

Choghok Jon, Panahi and many other iranian raised the green banner not because they were in love with so called reformists but because it was a symbol of resistance.

The reformists are bunch of old murderers who feel guilty about their crimes. Helping murder thousands of Iranians in the bloody decade of the 80's. Given a choice between their bunch and complete outsiders that want a new Secular democracy, they would lose.
