The Price will be a very heavy one for the Syrian People, Damascus will be over run and Assad will be shot in the coming months, unless the tide of the war is altered by Russia, China (who have so far vetoed the US 3 times) and the IRI. Though changing the tide of the war against the USA will have unforeseen consequences as the US aim for Regime change in favor of extremists, is to have a customer that will start wars at the push of a button in the middle east, backed by oil rich countries in pursuit of their short term advantage, in order to drain the region of its resources while increasing USA weapons sales. This is the how "the plan" the USA is using in the hope of getting itself out of its current economic decline, not that the USA needed to remind knowledgeable people what a dishonest and corrupt country it is, for example in comparison to the late shahs Iran. This News falls in the "American Life Style News Category", because it is how the USA military base empire, steals others money, murders and lies. Lets all get together, to cheer and praise America and send our love and thanks to opponents of Ghadhafi and Assad, the so-called Monsters. The Kicker is the outcome is always in the hands of the USA, whether extremists come or democrats. The reason the democrats get slaughtered, with the help of ignorant people who praised the disingenuous US stand for democracy and human rights, is because US interests pursue this, as we saw with the late shahs team, where the US goal was and still is to thwart progress towards democracy and misrepresent democratic leaders as US stooges, dictators, crooks, torturers and to hand pick the dictators & extremists of the future. ReportObama turned out to be "no Change" or not much different than Carter in terms of Human Rights, Democracy, Stability and Peace.
What shocks me to this day is how some Iranians can not clearly see how Peaceful the Late Shah of Iran was and the very reason western media deceived Iranians about him and had Iranians reviling their own king, seeing him as a US stooge, a crook, corrupt and violently brutal. When he was none of these, but a man in pursuit of Human Rights, Democracy, Stability and Peace.
As one of the most democratic leaders in the world of his time, the shah helped people power and kept his eye on the peoples freedom, so that a pre-industrial Iran would not rush towards a democratic system until the people could develop the culture and institutions for it first and not become like other democratic countries that do not have freedom or progress as a result of being democratic before the people can manage their own democracy.

Published on Feb 3, 2013, video of Colonel Abdul-Jabber Mohammed Aqidi, a prominent insurgent commander in Aleppo, holds up an anti-tank M79 rocket launcher. In the near future, with the Salafist Extremists guaranteed to be power in Syria as a result of covert US action, Iraqi's will need to invest all their oil income buying weapons from their US patron to defend themselves from aggression by the new extremists in Syria, who will have their weapons paid for by the Saudi's, Kuwaiti's, Qatari's and others.
