Day before yesterday, in defense of liberties in America, John Kerry the new American Secretary of State told a group of students in Germany:
“In America you have a right to be stupid - if you want to be,”
It is a good thing he said that, because only a day later Kerry standing alongside French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius in France said:
“Iran is a country with a government that was elected and that sits in the United Nations,”
Kerry saying the government in Iran is “elected” might be a signal to the weaponized nuke acquiring Messianic Islamists, or it might be a weird effect of having an Iranian son-in-law, or due to his daughter’s experience from her rumored trip to Iran, or a host of other reasons including the “right to be stupid.”
It is becoming clearer why Islamists, and their lobbies like NIAC, are so elated by Kerry’s appointment.

ReportAs was expected, regime lobby like NIAC and its associates like this Namazi, will try to get max mileage out of this Haleh Esfandiari ordered report.
The unbiased observers backed by verifiable facts have debunk this regime connected report.
Namazi belongs to Rafanjani.

ReportKerry is stupid! People in his state of Massachusetts became really happy when he became secretary of state because they could finally get rid of him as a senator!

ReportDear Fred,
Your subtle choice of blog picture is proof enough that John Kerry put his mouth where his mouth is. After all who other than a fool gives his ear to Hooman Majd?

ReportU.S. Aid To Syrian Rebels: $60 Million Being Sent To Syria Opposition

ReportObama's team by emphasizing diplomacy and by lowering the war rhetoric has deprived the NIACis and the Regimis of their "battle cry" that a war is coming and thousand of Iranians will be dying soon.
Meanwhile, the sanction diplomacy designed to weaken the Regime is well underway and a new set of sanctions are being introduced in the Congress (today's NY Times). So the overall strategy has not changed a bit and Kerry is picking up where Hilary left off.
On a related topic, Kerry met with Syrian opposition yesterday and pledged $60 million in aid.

ReportI agree with your reading of Administration's wise policy of disarming the Islamist Rapists and their paid gofers of the "battle cry", what I'm concerned about is the mileage they will get out of this legitimizing "elected" comment.
Iranian people are hanging on every word, and Islamist Rapists and their lobbies like NIAC and it's lifetime leader are good at spinning.

ReportI agree with you that Kerry should've stayed away from the word "elected" when describing the Regime. However, he cannot negotiate with the Regime and at the same time call them illegitimate.
I see all of this as a Kabuki dance that Obama is performing with the aim of weakening the Regime and empowering the Iranian people to topple it at the proper time.

ReportKerry is one of the most capable politicians we have. Not because of this comment but because he is a realist. Unlike closet war advocates and advocates for iranian suffering like Fred who likes to live in a world that does not exist, people like Kerry know how the world is and how to react to it.
Idealist and neocons need to find somewhere to hide becase their era of warmonigering and nation building is long gone.

Reportgo hide under the rug. your time is up! no amount of propaganda is going to put you guys back in the foreign policy machine!
choghok – Your enemie's enemy is necessarily not a friend.
ReportSo now Kerrys son in law is somehow part of American politics? Your arguments are pretty close to the ones used in the IRI propaganda TV shows.
Also from many articles published by NIAC you can clearly see that they have criticised the election process in Iran.
Also there is no evidence that IRI has or is requiring Nuclear Weapon, if that was the case we would be witnessing a war right now.
