awww. come on, my mom would strongly disagree, she has told me many times that i am the most important person in the whole wide world ever. buddy, that post was to point out how calling Reza Pahlavi "Javid shah" is counter productive for what he is trying to do (that he is beyond petty and baseless advertisement and he is foo reeeeal). I was also saying that (and this is where you could argued instead of getting all defensive) that in the new age of communication, people read and and decide for themselves and me being one of them (or I hope) hearing Javid Shah makes me ask, what make him Javid or shah for that matter. and when I don't have an answer then i start questioning the author.
so next time out of your random Kindness teach me something that I don't already know (and I am an ignorant SOB) instead of pointing out the obvious (I don't matter). Sherlock

از لطف و توجه دوستان ممنونم ولی من خودم چندان آدم پر لطفی نیستم که بتوانم مقابله به مثل کنم. ذهن من معطوف هموار کردن زمینه‌های شکل گیری یک اپوزیسیون متشکل است و از جدل‌های جانبی پرهیز می‌کنم. بهرحال بقول معروف کسی را که خواب است می‌توان بیدار کرد ولی نه کسی را که خودش را به خواب زده.
لازمهٔ سازماندهی و بسیج مردمی این است که هدف را آن چیزی قرار دهیم که «جامعهٔ مدنی» می‌خواهد باشد و نه آن چیزی که هست. یک پروژهٔ زندهٔ سیاسی نمی‌تواند مدام به دیگران سرکوفت زند و آنها را خوار کند که چنین و چنانید. خب مردم در لجنزار ارتجاع اسلامی زندگی می‌کنند و خودشان خوب می‌دانند قضیه از چه قرار است. یک پروژهٔ هدفمند سیاسی به آن جامعه‌ای نظر دارد که باید وجود داشته باشد و مردم نیز -منجمله آنهایی که در سحرگاه به تماشای مراسم اعدام می‌روند- از صمیم قلب خواهان آن هستند که جزئی از آن جامعهٔ مدنی باشند.
اگر من پرخاشگری بکنم، فقط و فقط در جهت از میان بردن موانع سازمان یابی مردمی است و انگیزه‌ای هدفمند دارد. نه به قدرت‌های خارجی امید بسته‌ام و نه به زمین و زمان بی‌نتیجه فحش می‌دهم.

Turning the other cheek is a nicer thing to do. You don't have to love them unconditionally when they have no love for you, but its good to allow people to be themselves, especially when they act to manufacture propaganda against you, your friends and country.
