Why not write as “Know Rooz”?

نوروز meaning “New Day” is the traditional ancient Iranian festival and also the First Day of the Iranian New Year. It is principally observed and celebrated in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan. In recent years, it is mostly referred to as Nowruz in the English literature. It is also spelled as Norouz, Norooz, Narooz, Nawruz, Newroz, Newruz, Nauruz, Nawroz, Noruz, Novruz, Nauroz, Navroz, Naw-Rúz, Nowroj, Navroj, Nevruz, Neyruz, Navruz, Navrez, Nooruz, Nauryz, Nevruz, Nowrouz, and possibly many other forms.
It seems none of those forms are truly representing the First Day of the Iranian New Year. Even some of them like Norouz, Norooz, Noruz, and so on bring a negativity to this day when it is a time of joy and celebration.

Why not write as “Know Rooz”?

What do you think?

Iranians are good at using their amazing heritage as a shield of false pride, which we have plenty of false pride already, to somehow relate the new year with Know for Knowledge and Wisdom, but reality is we are not anywhere near achieving Knowledge or Wisdom as a society, I would support it after we progress a little after looking and accepting ourselves as we are today. Other than false pride we are clearly also suffering from the pursuit of cruel hopes, don't you think? What letters do you think our intellectuals missed out on in relation to this post, http://iranian.com/posts/view/post/9583
