Photos from the past fall, taken during visits to village schools in the provinces of Parwan and Kapisa in Afghanistan. The photos detail public schools, religious schools, and NGO schools. Sometimes also just interesting things that I came across. Interesting to note that English was being taught in the religious maktabs, not at other schools. Special thanks to Coordination for Humanitarian Assistance and offices of Catholic Relief Services in Afghanistan for allowing me to take these photos.
