Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi Takes Oath as Roi de Jure Reza Shah II in Cairo’s Koubeh Palace on October 31st, 1980. Age 20 he succeeds to his father Shah Mohamed Reza Pahlavi who passed away after losing his battle against a fatal cancer only two months earlier.
