For years the Islamic Republic has been glorifying suicide bombers who act against those the IRI dislikes as “Martyrs”, the highest possible accolade for a fallen Moslem.
The Iranian People’s Resistance Movement, more commonly known as Jundallah (Soldiers of Allah), a Sunni Islamic organization, has taken responsibility for the devastating bombing attack in a Shiite mosque in Zahedan. In its communiqué Jundallah has described the suicide bombing as a martyrdom operation in response to insults hurled at a Sunni deity, it has promise there will be more to come.
Before the all-consuming flames of internecine religious conflict is once again ignited in Iran, a fire that was doused long ago, the IRI must mend its ways.
