I found it very ironic that President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad left Iran after the bloody events on Monday for an international conference at Yekaterinburg in Russia. It reminded me of another dictator’s convenient departure in similar circumstances:That of Nicolai Causcescu for Iran back in 1989 (where he had deposed flowers on Khomeiny’s tomb) before returning home to be toppled and executed. Will we see the advent of a Revolution in the day’s, months, to come ?
