Abraham, walk me through the fire
Past fear, and desire
Lead me up into the mountain
Show me the eternal fountain
Teach me not to shudder
Introduce me to my brother
Yes, I can hear the rumbling
Of my trembling, as I’m stumbling
To traverse the tattered mind
Which you’d left far behind
As you unsheathed the sharpened blade
From this tale what man has made
You knight of infinite resignation
To carry such a heavy designation
Bestowed upon you by grace
To bear what you had to face
The Trial and the Tribulation
Your unwavering determination
To heed to the eternal’s command
Traveled across the unknown land
Knew not your destination
To father more than a nation
Some follow love or follow hate
Yours was greatest, you had faith
