In an Ironic Twist of Fate, Ebrahim Yazdi (former Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs) who suffers from cancer was arrested last june in Iran. The man who opposed the Shah to recieve treatment for Cancer in NY back in 1979/1980 was to be examined by his doctors in the US but was not allowed to leave the country. Yazdi is best remembered for General Rahimi’s controversial trial and execution.
As Much as I admire Jon Stewart’s Talent and humor, I cannot but notice that he has not really done his homework !
Oh Well Next Time Jon Maybe after reading this blog you may have a more eyeopening view of the backgrounds of who you invite on your shows …
