The conservative Iran newspaper with a circulation of over 5000, yesterday underestimated a crowd of hundreds of thousands gathered in Qom to mourn the death of reformist Ayatollah Hossein-Ali Montazeri. Shariatmadari says he plans to hire more staff to cover demonstrations as large as several million, meanwhile he says Kayhan will display a new banner clearly indicating its current under-estimation factor to its readers.
