Dawn’s fingers drizzled through the blinds
Woke up for her sizzles, was warming my facade
Opened my eyes, looked up, saw her gentle face, a glossy
smile
Kissed my lips, her tongue tickled my heart
I rolled my eyes searched for the last night’s monster
I saw his footsteps on my chest but his odor was long gone
Rolled again to push my face into the comfort of no change
She started rubbing anticipation on my naked nerves
She showed no signs to give it up,
So I gave in to the “one step at a time”
I gave up what was behind,
Put my pants of future on and started packing the spread
memoirs
Next morning I was at Dawn’s hometown
Where she shines days and the nights
