This is a scene from a full length film “Imaginary Play” representing the culture of Iran’s working men in the streets and the housewives working at home all day. These merchants were shouting and sometimes singing about their goods and services in an alley. On the flip side. Housewives got a break by coming out and chatting with the merchants. They also got the opportunity to trade old/used items from their homes and come away with something new for the family.
