Iran’s own

Today, President Obama is scheduled to sign into law the recently passed HR 2194, the Comprehensive Iran Sanctions, Accountability, and Divestment Act of 2010.

Although not as “comprehensive” as its title claims it to be, it is nevertheless a step in the right direction.

One of the strong features of the new law denies the President the power of making blanket exemption on any country. Instead, the president may waive sanctions on companies for 12 months on a case-by-case basis as long as he certifies to Congress that the country where the company is based is cooperating with U.S.-led multilateral efforts to isolate IRR, the Islamist Rapists Republic.

Because of this feature alone many companies have already stopped doing business with the Islamist Rapists and the U.S. Treasury will make sure others will soon follow.

This law will make Islamist Rapists much more vulnerable to the masses of fed up Iranians yearning freedom.

Now the lawmakers in DC, Democracy Central, should quickly augment the new law with legislations mandating material support to the Iranian democracy advocates inside Iran empowering them to overthrow their Islamist Rapist tyrants, write and sign their own emancipation proclamation.

Today has the potential to be remembered by the future generations as the genesis of Iran’s own 22 September 1862.
