Gen. Fardoust was always “a Person of Interest” for the world’s largest intelligence agency, Soviet Union’s KGB. He was among a small coterie of key people in Iran, which KGB kept under constant surveillance. Now, after the fall of USSR, we can read some of those reports in KGB’s archives or listen to stories of its old hands in Iran… It is a fascinating accounts of the hide-and-seek dance that these secret societies (KGB, Freemasonry, CIA, SAVAK, Imperial Army’s 2nd Command — intelligence/counter-intelligence,…) performed together.
