Winston Churchill famously said: “You can always count on Americans to do the right thing – after they’ve tried everything else.”
It seems at least in the case of American policy toward IRR, the Islamist Rapist Republic; Churchill’s description is dead on true.
After the disaster of the clueless Carter, the nonsense secret gifts of cake, bible and gun courtesy of Reagan, the out of sight out of mind years of Bush the father, Clinton’s pacing back and forth in front of the men’s room at the U.N for a chance to talk to charlatan Khatami, the tough talking nothing doing years of the junior Bush, and the two plus years of Obama’s hand of friendship dangling in the air with no takers and writing be my friends letters to the head Rapist Khamenei at the height of his savage forces raping and murdering peaceful Iranian demonstrators, it seems the Americans might, just might be ready to do the right thing.
Yesterday President Obama said:
“I find it ironic that you’ve got the Iranian regime pretending to celebrate what happened in Egypt, when in fact they have acted in direct contrast to what happened in Egypt by gunning down and beating people who were trying to express themselves peacefully,”
And
“My hope and expectation is that we’re going to continue to see the people of Iran have the courage to be able to express their yearning for greater freedoms and a more representative government,”
President Obama’s tone and unambiguous language allows hoping that, it is a sign of American policy shift. It further allows hoping by air-tightening the existing weak sanctions and including blood oil and gas, America will finally do the right thing.
The enslaved fed up Iranian people need help to overthrow their murderous Islamist Rapist tyrants, “reformers” and all. It is in the national security interest of the sane world to help the Iranian people to achieve their emancipation.
A freed Iran would also end the nightmare of the messianic Islamists with announced mission to “manage the world” getting their hands on weaponized nuke to load up on their existing arsenal of long-range missiles. Lets hope Churchill was right.
