He had his underwear stolen. In a public restroom. He had his laundry with him because he didn’t have a safe place to leave it.
He broke down sobbing.
Then he pulled himself together and kept on keeping on.
I know many of you have been following Charley James’ diaries about being homeless. They are grim. They are painful. They are not anything we want anyone to go through. He beat cancer. Then his financial advisor stole his retirement. He lost his home. Then he got hit by a car. Now he is homeless. But he’s still standing and we can help him stay on his feet.
We are asking for donations to help him get a place. I know how kind and generous the Kos community can be. We are asking for $750.00.
$650.00 is for a room for a month.
$100.00 for electricity deposit, perishable food, and his cell phone bill for one month.
