That day Karl Otto went home very happy as the Clara accepted his flowers. His mother was so surprised as she saw her son is so happy. She stand up and took her son in her arms and kissed her with love. Karl Otto kissed her and touched her white brawn hairs. He told her that Clara has accepted his flowers. And she was nice and friendly to him. The mother who had only one child was very happy as he was so nice and so with hope and love. He was the only love and support of his old mother and mother loved him so much like a lot of other mothers who want to give everything they have to their children. The other days, he came home very upset and spoke without any interest to his mother, but today he was happy and listens to all the words his mother utters. The mother went every day to the church and prayed for him and asked the pastor to pray also for her son, and she asked also the Saint Maria to help him to be happy and normal. She does not want to see her son upset and unhappy. Hitler loved to see all his enemies dancing on the ropes of executions. He did not like any resistance against him. And wanted to kill all the people who do not accept him. So Karl Otto had to work with such leader. Now the lovely mother sees her son is so happy and she was upset why in the past was angry with God, because her son was not happy. And asked God the forgiveness. He was completely changed , he went to his work with interest and came back every day with a lot of food and fruits. And help his mother to make the house nicer and better. In the time he had no work he had taken his mother to the park and other nice places and tried to make his mother very happy.
Karl Otto took always also flowers or other gift to Clara and he hoped to be her friend. Even not boy friend at least just a good friend. His mother was from an Island, Court where the Napoleon was also. She came to Germany as she married to a German soldier, a sergeant I mean. But her husband died many years ago in a small fight. He was remarried in the Church again and she love her husband a lot. And the fruit of this marriage was Karl Otto. She love him very deeply and in the days he was not happy, the mother feels it and she feels that a fire is burning in her heart. In the time she know that all these changes is because of Clara, she went to her house and thanked her a lot. She prayed for her and was appreciate as she accepted her son as a good friend. Clara was a very nice person and invited her in her house. And after chatting for a long time, she invited also Clara in her house. Clara who was a nice person had accepted her invitation. Karl Otto was different person as Clara’ s husband. We cannot compare these two me. The face of Herr Fritch was burned by the sun and he was more like a wild hero, who win the war and kill the people easily. He was rude proud and very rich. But Karl Otto was a young office , recently he got the rank of a second colonel and as he had a good background and degree from university, he got that rank. He was a young man more or less like a girl, innocent and quite. He was very thin and his action would tell us that he was in a deep love with a lot of hope. But Herr Fritch was powerful, rich and hard and may be these guided Clara to be in love with him and not with the Karl Otto who had a opposite character as Herr Fritch. But Karl Otto does not want to lose his position, he studied very hard, worked very hard and practice a lot of other work and tried to build something new. He could study mechanical books and created a lot of devices and tried to complete a motor and an engine. Every body liked him as he worked very hard and studied very hard, too. He managed to have a better house and a better situation. He brought also sometimes a bunch of flowers to Clara, in the time that the commandant was absent. Clara loved him more as a friend like a brother and not as a lover. Karl Otto started to gather also money and he saved his money by an old Jewish woman in their neighborhood.
Hitler thought that the French general will be in front of him like a huge mountain. He thought the general like in the Napoleon time will be against him and will fight with him. But he could capture France with his army and the help of his generals like Herr Fritch. In this war Karl Otto, and the brother of Clara Wolfgang and Clara were also in France. Just few generals of French army fight with him for a short time. The general of Napoleon times were not there any more.
The Jewish woman who had Karl Otto money was a nice woman. She wanted more and less help the people, he gathered people money and give them a little interest and acted like a bank and gives these money to other people who needed money and they pay a little bit more interest to the money they borrowed from her. So she give part of the interest to the people who left money with her and the rest she put in a save for the emergency cases. She does not take a carpet or other thing as a security, just she got a hand written receipt form them and she give also a hand written paper to the people who gave her money. She did not have a nice life and live very poorly and did not take the money of other people who trusted her. So she had a nice name. She had no child, so she like Karl Otto like her son. Her name was Kalin with the other Turkish name khanom. Also Kalin khanom was her called name. She was originated from Iran. Karl Otto worked very hard and he spent a lot of time for working as he wanted to be not poor any more. He got sick, but his mother and Kalin khanom helped him and tried to cure him very fast. And soon the war started and Karl Otto should go to the army also and as he worked in army before after a short time he got the rank of second colonel. The Germany army at that time was the best army in Europe and German people build a huge powerful army as they lose a war before, so they wanted to have the best army in Europe. The huge tanks of Hitler army and his discipline of his army was famous in Europe. And the European people were afraid from this huge army. The Hitler was the dictator , the leader and the head of the German people. He forgot that he was a poor man and he wished to have a nice place to sleep and have enough money to buy a good food. Now he was a powerful rich man and not a simple poor worker any more.
Wolfgang was now a colonel but he was not like Herr Fritch proud and rude. The husband of Clara was very rude, selfish, self center and proud, so that he thinks even Clara is his slave. But Wolfgang was the opposite, he was nice friendly and generous, so he had a lot of good friends in the Nazi Army of Hitler. Some soldiers even loved him and were willing to be killed for him and his orders or commands. The colonel Wolfgang was sent to General Fritch to cooperate with him and help him. Wolfgang helped general a lot of time and rescued him many times. So general liked him, but he thinks he the colonel is his servant only. Karl Otto came also closer to the commandant and was his secretary and adjutant also. General trusted Karl Otto a lot and speak about many of his secret to him. But he looked at them down like a servant or cheap people. He thought only he is important. The sickness of thinking that he is the best. So the soldiers and other officers did not like the general as he did not respect them. He wanted them to work for him like a machine and he did not look to them as a human beings.
The head of the spy section of the German army came to the office of the colonel. He was a man with thick eyebrow and a head without any hair. And mustache which was thick also. He looked out very bad and very cruel. The colonel told a lot to the head of spay department and that time the German army was very disciplined and very good. This colonel was one of the best personnel in the Hitler army.
