In two separate terrorist acts in northern Tehran on Monday, Iranian nuclear scientist Majid Shahriari was killed and Fereidoon Abbasi was wounded when they were driving to work.
Head of Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Ali-Akbar Salehi said Thursday that Iran will set up further measures to protect its nuclear scientists from harms, the semi-official ISNA news agency reported.
“Since last year, we have seriously adopted measures to protect our (nuclear) scientists and specialists, and on the basis of the recent decisions they will be multiply protected,” Salehi told the semi-official ISNA news agency.
