My work is about open- endedness. It might establish a threshold stimulus that will evoke an emotional response. If it reminds you of something, fine. If it makes you feel a certain way, great! If nothing happens to you, no harm done. There are no hidden messages, nothing to decode, absolutely nothing to think about. It is a personal piece, as personal to me as my gloves. A purely visual experience. An escape from daily fights and fligths. It is like spilling paint and allowing it to have a life of its own. Something better than I had originally intended.
