An Iranian currency exchanger shows an Iraqi 250-dinar banknote
in the capital Tehran, April 19, 2003. The Saddam dinar, one of
the three currencies in circulation in Iraq, has raised 14-fold
in value in Iran since the U.S.-led war against Iraq started, traded
at about 60 rials in the black market now. It is however changing
hands in Iraq at about 2,700 to the U.S. dollar. U.S. officials
say Iraqis will use U.S. dollars and other currencies including
the dinar issued by the ousted government until an Iraqi authority
introduces a new unit. $1=8,000 rials. REUTERS/Morteza Nikoubazl
