May 16, 2003 (The Age) -- X-Men star Hugh Jackman
is in line for another blockbuster role. The Australian, presently
riding high on the X-Men wave, could soon tie up a spot in the most
expensive British movie yet. Details were unveiled today of the
STG50 million ($A125.52 million) biblical epic billed as a cross
between Gladiator and Lawrence of Arabia. The
movie will tell the story of King Cyrus of Persia, who live500 years
before the birth of Christ. Movie insiders said Jackman is in talks
over the lead role in the mega-budgeted movie. Angelina Jolie has
been tipped to play opposite him and Sir Sean Connery is also linked
