Reza Bagher, an Iranian-born film director living
in Sweden, has directed many films but the breakthrough to wider
audiences was with Cappricciosa and, recently, with Populäärimusiikkia
Vittulajänkältä, which has attracted audiences
of over 250,000 in Sweden and over 80,000 in Finland. The career
of
a film director with an immigrant background has not been easy,
but after touching upon the Swedish middle-class and life in a
1960’s remote village in Lapland in his latest films, Reza
