The question of the "WHEN," and the "HOW" of
the Creation of the Universe has occupied the curious mind of man
ever since he looked up at the sky with wonderment. This presentation
explains the current prevailing theories on the creation of the
universe at the time of the Big Bang, its evolution from a pin
point of energy to the formation of stars, planets, black holes
and galaxies we see today, and finally the ultimate fate of the
Universe.
Ebrahim Victory was born in Tehran, Iran on December
26, 1933, where he attended high school. He came to the United
States in
1952, and after one year of studying English he attended M.I.T.
from 1953 to 1958 where he received the degrees of Bachelor of
Science, and Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering. During
the years 1957-1958, he also taught a course at the graduate school
of M.I.T., and performed research for the U.S. Air Force.Upon leaving
M.I.T. he worked in research projects for the U.S. Air Force, the
U.S. Navy, NASA, and various private US corporations.
In 1977 he returned to his native country, Iran, where he worked
for the Ministry of Agriculture. Upon his return from Iran in 1979,
he established his own company developing custom made computer
programs for medium sized companies.
He is the author of 50 scientific articles on the results of his
research, as well as well over 500 popular science articles on
space, astronomy, and cosmology. His book entitled "The Wonders
of the Universe" is a collection of both, the English and
the Persian versions of 25 of his favorite articles. He is currently
editing his second book entitled "The Mysterious Universe," expected
to be published early in 2004.
