known conductors including Herve Nicquet and Michel Plasson.

Darya has a great passion for the folk music and poetry of her

for voice and accompaniment in a contemporary style while conserving
their ethnic originality. Her repertoire also includes arrangements
of Afghani, and Turkish folk tunes. Darya is equally at ease
singing
in French, English and Persian and she frequently combines eastern
and western tunes to create a new grasp of world music.
